Jarvis Landry??

Can't imagine they'd give him to us.
agreed, i mean after the welker trade, i dont think miami will want to trade with the pats again

I think Landry would be excellent in the NE offense, but I can't see Miami being willing to send him here.
He's be the next JE11..if that's possible

If they had a notion that Landry's going to be reasonable with his contract demands moving forward, this would actually be a move worth thinking hard about.

I really think it depends on MIA wants for comp.

If it's anything more than what he would most likely net in a comp pick then that might be a bit too rich.

With that said if the team is supremely confident he could get up to speed at an accelerated pace and be in sync with TB12 by Dec....

Hmmmm

I'll believe it more from an actual credible source that the pats are in on him.

I'm actually thinking of it moving forward, as much as for this year. JE11 will probably not be JE11 next season, because of bounce back time. DA will probably not be back next year. Landry would seem an interesting option to fill the void.

I would agree. JE would conceivably move into a more DA type mode next year etc etc given his age and injuries. I am not saying that Cooks (assuming he is still here past 18) Hogan, and Mitchell along with JE and Gronk still at TE isnt great. But another body in the 23-25 year old range wouldnt hurt.

They probably shouldnt draft one.

Also. if TB wants to be here another 5 years its sets him up with his future group of guys he can start working with sooner rather than later..

Also, the Fins dont want to move Landry anyway.

No question he's s viable option long term . You question around signability is legit.

He makes too much sense both short and long term. Don't slot guys come at a discount?

Honestly think a better option would be Tavon Austin of the Rams because you have a big CAP hit this year but three years after as reasonable and he is only 26. He returns punts and can run out of the backfield. He sets behind rookie sensation Cooper Kupp and the Rams just picked up Sammy Watkins. They will listen. 58 catches last year from a rookie QB!
Almost 400 yards in put returns?
Thoughts?

Browns would give up more than us

I would prefer Allen Hurns or marqise Lee. Jacksonville won't go anywhere this season.

Offense wins championships ...used to the the other way around....NFL took care of that!

Nope but I would give them a 3rd rounder.

Im not sure even about a 3rd rounder this late into training camp/preseason. For the WR position especially and needing to build that trust and chemistry with Brady... real tough to have a guy come in 2 weeks before regular season starts and be productive enough to warrant a high pick

Could pay off in Dec/Jan tho

I like the idea of Landry or Marquise Lee
Want about Tavon Austin?

Believe it or not, combining salary and roster bonus, Tavon Austin is owed $15M this year, $8M next year then between $9M and $10M per year through 2021. And $30M of that is guaranteed. That may be the worst contract in the NFL.
