It would probably make sense, but I don't expect it to happen. I think the team is very happy being able to rotate between Gillislee, Lewis, White and Burkhead. That's an embarrassment of riches with an extremely diverse set of skills.

And not a big "name" among them.

Looks like that injury occurred when O'Shaugnessy fell into his leg on Jimmy's first pass of the game.

Apparently not serious or the Pats wouldn't keep playing him in a pre-season game.

Meanwhile, Le'Veon Bell is holding out for $15 million per year in Pitt. I don't think all four of the above-named RBs' salaries even combine for $15m this year...

But Bell only counts as ONE roster spot while the Pats have allotted FOUR.

So Bell has THAT going for him,

I'm a PSU fan also, I live in Scranton. The team is definitely good, and Franklin is a good coach, but he's boring. BOB was really entertaining, and actually had Hackenberg playing like a first-round pick which was cool. Just miss his style. But not gonna complain about winning the Big Ten Was miffed when they missed the postseason last year...

Agree. But i like the intangibles... Still it is hard to learn to pass correctly having done it wrong so many years. Not as easy as some people make it sound. I only had 2 QBs worth a first 64 pick grade so there weren't a lot of options... He wasn't one of them though. I would be more worried about KC than Houston.

Pat Mahomes is scarier than Watson IMO and with that D if he can make some plays (we know Alex Smith won't make many) they could be a bit dangerous.
