A base nickel defense that includes Gilmore, Butler and Talib as the three starting corners is a very enticing alternative.

Agree with Hicks. He was an animal last year. One of the rare free agent mistakes that Belichick has made. 2/10 mill for him should have been a no-brainer. He's going to get PAID next offseason.

Talib > Jones, in my opinion.

Thought Akeem Hicks was a keeper, but to say that it was a mistake to let him go is a difficult assessment as he may have been one of the guys who overestimated his value and the Pats moved on.. that seems to be a trend lately.

Martellus Bennett is a favorite, would like to see him play with less injuries..

Holy hell you just reminded me that Ben Watson is still in the league somehow.

My great idea for a blog is just to post photos of players in current uniforms that you are surprised are still playing. Ben Watson might be my second entry after Vince Carter. It'd be called "He's still playing?!"

In all honesty Statistics aside..if the game is on the line I would rather have AV over Ghost IMO.
