Only 9 since 2006, including the Miami game last year where we didn't try very much. Take that game out and we haven't lost by double digits in almost three full seasons including 3 playoff runs.
A truly unbelievable run. Just ridiculous!
To me it speaks volumes that I/we can distinctly remember so many of those games without having to look them up - because they so seldom happen. In fact because they are so rare many of the games are given names (the audio tape game, the 'they hate their coach' game, the Peyton Hillis game, etc.).
As a point of reference here are the number of double digit losses for some other quarterbacks:
- 61 -- Brett Favre
- 55 - Dan Marino
- 53 - Dan Fouts
- 53 - Eli Manning
- 45 - Drew Brees
- 38 - Peyton Manning
- 35 - John Elway
- 35 - Jim Kelly (played in 92 fewer (177) games; 110-67)
- 29 - Joe Montana (played in 50 fewer (219) games; 143-72)
- 26 - Kurt Warner (played in 131 fewer (138) games; 81-57)
- 24 - Ben Roethisberger (played in 64 fewer (205) games; 137-68)
