Chung needs a break.
Between defense and special teams, Chung played 1207 snaps in 2016, IIRC about 80 more total snaps than anyone else.

Burkhead won't be both a core special-teamer on the Pats AND a significant part of the offense. There's simply too much to learn on offense every week for him to be spending CBA-limited practice snaps on ST work.
The $3.15M the Pats are spending on him for just the one season seems a very strong indication that they expect him to be a significant part of the offense.
If Burkhead ends up a core special-teamer at Bolden's level of participation, it would seem likely that he failed to meet those expectations.
If Foster is so good, why wasn't he returning kicks last year.
How many snaps do you see him playing on offense?
Figure 1000 snaps...with Gillislee, DLew and White, Burk will see 300-400. Plenty of rest to handle ST duties.
I view them as corollary. It's not about "rest", it's about reps. A player only gets so many.
So i take it no real time twitter updates are allowed in this practice?
