after seeing his Bro gets 2 rings, and win all the time while at the titans Jason lost all the time...

i expect he may be interested in a 1 yr deal to win a champ

If you're going to make dumb posts, you should back them up. Can you tell me what type of system Sherman plays in,what are his strengths and weaknesses and the same of Butler?

I didn't think so. Who plays more man? Why do you think there's no takers for sherman yet ?
well hopefully Bill's got you in the film room with all your expertise

he better be careful though. You sound smart enough that you're probably being headhunted by the other 31 teams

Just went through 84 McCourty posts at gotitans.com and the general feeling was good luck but its time to move on.

Speculation was that he wanted to add years to his contract if he agreed to a restructure but former Patriot and current Titan GM Jon Robinson decided that didn't make financial sense.

One red flag for me was the many comments that he now shied away from contact.

Why not? Rowe played extremely well most of the time,he's young with a great skill set. Butler/Gilmore/Rowe gives you tremendous flexibility as all 3 can really play just about anywhere. Would also be great tho if one or both of the Joneses stepped up.

Must been watching he wrong team last year. He played somewhere between competent and solid with the most vivid memories of him being the times he celebrated WR drops like he actually did something to prevent them. He needs to make a big jump if we trade Butler to the Saints otherwise look out for Jonathan Jones maybe moving up the depth chart after camp.

Am I the only one who wants Harmon to get more snaps?
I like Harmon a lot and I wanted him to sign an extension here badly, but I believe he's already playing around 50 percent of the snaps in the big nickel sets. He's pretty much considered a starter at this point. If he were to see an increase it would likely be due to one of DMcC or Chung getting injured/poor play.

Can Rowe play just about anywhere? I mean, would he really be lining up in the slot, for example?

To me, he looked like a serviceable outside CB due to his size, which is his biggest strength (in my opinion, of course). I don't think he's fluid or quick enough to handle slot responsibilities on a regular basis. Actually, I'm not even sold on him as our CB2. I think he was adequate, but still needs a lot of work.

Our lack of depth in terms of inside corners is something that people just ignore for some reason. Unless Butler stays and spends a considerable amount of snaps there we only really have Cyrus Jones. Gilmore and Rowe are outside corners, putting them inside would expose their weaknesses the same way the Seahawks have made Sherman looks worse when they stopped deploying him on the outside of one side exclusively.

So having read this thread, two things I'm surprised by.

1. No Rutgers reference

2. More seriously, I see him as a Logan Ryan replacement so long as his tackling is up to scratch. Put him on the shorter quicker receivers with some safety help.

Give him Devin's number and have them do a tandem safety blitz: the qb will think he's seeing double and wind up in the concussion protocol, or the booby hatch. (Do they still call it the Booby Hatch, or is that a microaggression?)

Seems like a good idea to try to work out a deal, maybe he needs a change of scenery from down south.. and playing with his twin would prove interesting.

OTOH in the real world BB has never been much for sentiment, so the angle about his being Devin's bro means crap.. if he fits, they might make a run at him.

I like his character and they stuff the twins do..
