If brissett comes out and plays better then brady in practice and scrims, and the preseason games do you think bellichick wont make a move?

a.)brady would have had to have lost it, whatever IT is.
b.) jimmy Garrapolo would have to play subpar
c.)Brissett would have to play lights out amazing.

All things unlikely but it could happen, because this is the patriots.

There's got to be a bit more to this situation than meets the eye. There are teams out there who would love to have a vet CB (Dallas, Pittsburgh, etc) while their younger draft picks get adjusted (or not).

Jason McCourty has missed 14 games in the past two years. Judging by his brother's comments, they seem to be prepared for this to go into the summer. I wonder if he's still trying to return to health, and/or his financial expectations aren't the same as what teams are offering. Or...he could just be a dime a dozen mediocre CB who's been overrated on this forum.

I can't see someone with his injury history receiving starter-level money. If he's going to be a depth signing, then other considerations should come into play like....personal connections to family (Devin Mac) or a chance to contend for a title.

Surely, watching his twin brother go to multiple SBs might be swaying his mind
