2017 Patriots Draft Contacts Thread

And of Houston Pro Day fame, Brandon Wilson will be meeting with the Patriots next week for a visit, according Tony Pauline.

His best testing comp I can find in the database? Terrence Wheatley. Take that for what it's worth.

Wheatley was solid until he hurt his wrist. Never recovered his confidence. But he was fast and had talent. I always wonder what could have been. Maybe it's time I switch to the other Houston Wilson as a late-round draft crush.

He has interesting numbers, and the versatility make him very intriguing.

His 3cone at 7.07 would be one outlier number, but if you are talking about a 6/7th rounder, it may be okay to step out of your typical measurables.

Howard Wilson refused to do any workout apparently.

I think we missed this one:

Pro day results: Michigan, Cal, BYU

» Safety Kai Nacua (6-0 3/4, 205) ran the 40 in 4.48 and 4.49 seconds, had a 39-inch vertical, a 10-7 broad jump, a 4.14-second short shuttle, a 6.87-second three-cone, and 15 strength lifts. I was told he looked great in position drills. He has a workout scheduled with the Patriots on April 3.

Hello Legarrette Blount. Watch at 0:41 in the below video. The BYU player punching blue #40 from behind? That's Nacua.

We haven't heard about a single visit yet have we?

I thought I saw a tweet go by saying that Brandon Wilson has a visit scheduled for next week.

Aaaand ... suddenly, I can't get, "I tawt I taw a puddytat!" out of my head.

You're right. I thought it was a workout. Thanks.

Pats met with Julie'n Davenport from Bucknell today. It was a full workout and film study session.

I wasn't a fan of his film, mostly because his fundamentals needed so much work. With that said, he has the athletic profile, and we have the greatest teacher for the position in the game.

One to keep an eye on.

Pro Day: March 27 | Draft Analyst

Hmmm. Interesting.

Edit: Davenport workout was with Dante.

Anytime Scar is involved, my interest level in the prospect goes way up. Nice find!

Captain: Check
Military background: Check
Measurables: Check
Intelligence: Check

All he's missing is the "I want him to marry my daughter" from the head coach.

Just pencil him in for a 53 man roster spot now.

There's also this although I do question his 'in the know' status a bit.

After just a really quick glance at his rankings v. median OL selections per round, Davenport could go anywhere between late-3rd and the 5th round.

More tackles:

AggieYell.com - A&M Pro Day review

• Gennesy and Jermaine Eluemunor were put through the ringer by scouts from the Patriots and Eagles. When the drills were supposed to be done, Philadelphia pulled both guys aside and made them run more. It looks like both guys will be drafted at this point.

Villanova tackle Brad Seaton (6-8, 327) working out today for Patriots, per source, previous workouts for Texans, Bills

That would defensive linemate of Tanoh. Nope, not getting excited by that one bit. Nothing to see here.

At the very least, Seaton (far left) makes Kpassagnon (far right) look small:
