RB talent wasn't the issue last year; I think they were just spoiled for years by having the one weird, unique RB with a bizarre running style who could make it work behind a crap line. Would be better off investing in the line and using JAG RBs IMO.
IIRC, he put up a crap-tonne of yards against the Lions in this season's playoffs, didn't he?Does this mean Rawls hasn't fully healed, and maybe isn't expected to heal?
You mean like what the Pats have "gotten away with" for several years now?
I really like our OL, especially with Scar coaching it.However you might feel about our OL, it's miles better than Seattle's. Think about how bad our line was at the end of 2015 when everyone was hurt. Seattle's is that bad at full strength. They have one player (Justin Britt) who could start for us, in part because he's their best OL and in part because he happens to play the same position as our worst, but I'm not sure their other starters would even cut it as backups here.
THe price of Legarritte Blount just went up.
Never underestimate the stupidity of NFL General Managers. Why the hell would a team sign him for $3m in guarantees if he is 33 lbs over his playing weight?
What am I missing?

Obese Mode
My initial thought when reading this story was the Seahawks just plugged a hole in their offensive line by signing Lacy. Funny how the mind works.Still no upgrade on a dismal offensive line. Luke Joeckel sucks.
Imagine if he went to Jets* for a visit with all those cup cakes?
Stinky Pete knows better.Never underestimate the stupidity of NFL General Managers.
In approximate order of best potential value/most likely to sign with Patriots, here are the remaining free agent running backs. If the Pats elect to add another veteran RB it will most likely be a familiar face. There aren't many running backs out there with a chance of being on the roster in September.
