Outside of the hometown team in Tennessee, my biggest concerns in this process were Pittsburgh and particularly Baltimore. Harbaugh would know how to use him, they're a winning team, the weather is much nicer even if not perfect. But they are one of the few teams up against the cap right now, so it would take a lot for them to get into play.

Hopefully he's right and is ready to go back and negotiate with the Pats at this point. No idea who that guy is though.

i heard pitt really didn't have the resources to get Hightower. He will just take his offers from the Jets and Steelers back to the pats and hopefully they can hash something out. This was nothing but a "determine your market and get back to me" tour.

I wonder if he's bringing any leftover cupcakes to BB?

Are they ? What did they win since 2012 ? I think this is more perception than reality...

Player perception is what matters here. Two .500 seasons, one winning season, one losing season are the facts. But they have been generally respectable for a long time.

LOL, the weather is not "much nicer" in Baltimore. It still gets cold down there. Same goes with Tennessee and Pittsburgh.

I think the fact he wants to come back to talk to BB is definitely a good thing. IMO if it's a difference of a couple million a year, BB will make it work.

Also, f*** the Jets.

I wouldn't be so confident the Pats have a pattern of not going above what they think a player is worth this includes Hightower.

Plus they have only $9mm in cap space.

It's been 20 degrees in Boston the last 3 days and I've currently got a foot of heavy wet snow in my driveway. Yes, that happens in Baltimore and Tennessee, but a lot less frequently.

C'mon High get Butler and come back to complete the dynasty.

I guess Donta got a wake up call on what he is worth in the open market.

He'll be signing a Patriots contact before the month ends...

I agree with your comment about BAL. Not so sure about Nashville, TN though. The weather there is substantially better than NE/PIT/BAL.

aggressive by the steelers...take it or leave it aspect
