"Not bad," she says.Cooks, Edleman, Hogan, Mitchell, Amendola, not a bad wide receiver unit.....I'm guessing we are not bringing Floyd back now

Cooks is the most impressive WR I've seen in person at practice (been attending TC since 2013, haven't seen Moss obviously).
Awesome, this will be the 2nd opening night of the draft I won't have to stay up late for
Unless...Jimmy?
We keep Butler, this is awesome. I like this trade, but I do not love it. Here are my reaseon
First of all, I think we payed a lot for him. This is a loaded Draft and we lost some important picks.
Secondly, He was complaining in NO for not getting enough attention. BB won't stand that ****
Thirdly, We've seen (good and bad) WRs struggle here. I don't think it will happen (NO had a complex system and he did more than fine).
And lastly, but not least, We only have him for a year in a cheap contract, then we have to activate his option (Big pay increase). Then we have to re-sign him and Star WRs are not cheap. Whoever we would draft would be here for 5 years (at best)
In any case, the good points are much more important than the bad ones. And Butler stayed. He is a very good player on an excellent team
This team NEEDS linebackers and a running back. I'd like to know what BB has been smoking these last couple days.

So they could trade Butler back to the Saints for the higher first round pick.
Very interesting....I'd like to keep Butler though
I just got off the phone will BB. He says he's sorry that he couldn't get Jerry Rice in his prime, and he hopes you'll forgive him.
Ironically, I've kind of taken this year off a bit. Feel sorry for @I.M. Fletcher and @reamer who have done amazing work. Still, short of a Jimmy G trade, we have two late day two picks and five on day three.
How long have fans asked Belichick to go all-out for Brady's final years? If they keep Butler, and move JAG for additional picks to load up on more defenders, this is it.
Cooks basicly has the the same system in NO that NE has, I dont expect the trasition to be that hard. Id be more worried about him getting used to the weather lol. Hes a machine, and truthfully I think hes better than julio jones falcons. He has a very good RB ability after the ball and doesnt play around, his head goes strait up field if you watch him and he runs for his life. Not like you see showboaters do. Look on youtube, youll see what I mean.but...after so many established WRs not working out elsewhere...how does anyone on Pats know Cooks can learn this system???
this is wierd
I'm stoked that we didn't trade Butler. If they don't move him and sign Hightower, you might as well just hand the Pats the Lombardi now. Apparently BB liked what he saw out of the offense last season with a legit threat to take the top off the defense. This offense is going to be absolutely explosive.
Cooks
Hogan
Edelman
Gronk
Allen
White/Lewis
How do you stop that? You can no longer play man under to choke off everything underneath and, if you play Cover-2, Edelman, Gronk, and the backs will kill you between the numbers and down the seam. This offense is going to be a ****ing pinball machine.
