Patriots interested in Chargers OL D.J. Fluker [update: signs w/ Giants]

Would be a nice add... versatile player. Would be happy if they got him.

Well, there we go -- you heard it here! Pack up your bags and go home folks, nothing to see here!
I'm not saying I agree with Chris necessarily, but the Giants do have huge needs on that OLine. They'd be dumb to not roll out the small Brinks truck on a red carpet laden with rose pedals for him. He may have underwhelmed so far, but there's tons of potential there.

Giants have the third LEAST cap space left - around 8 million. Don't know how much flexibility they have.

Fluker's been lousy, but the Giants need OL help, and will be more inclined to overpay. That seems like the likely result.

Oh snap, I didn't know that. Is Victor Cruz still on the books? They could dump him maybe. But f'ck, why do I even care? This is the Patriots. Carry on, people.

That's what I said (sort of), but I was told they're not dealing with too much more cap space.

He's versatile can play inside, or RT.
The upside is there, but he's had nagging injuries throughout his career. Played through them for the most part. 59 of 64 games.
This would be another value add by BB.

The Giants can maneuver, if they wish.

Right because we all know the key to winning in the NFL is to desperately overlay for a guy who isn't really the answer so you can say you did something

What would he play here? Guard? Not sure he's any better than Mason or Thuney.
