I posted this eslewhere but figured it's relevant.
Some other signings in our division:
Bills sign FB Mike Tolbert (1 year, $1 million) - Decent, He can play RB too
Bills sign FB Patrick DiMarco (4 years, $8.5 million) - Meh. A bit much for a pure FB.
Bills retain QB Tyrod Taylor - I don't hate Taylor at all. I think he is a decent QB in this league and could still improve
Dolphins re-sign DE Andre Branch (3 years, $27 million) - holy **** this is dumb. 9 Mill for a guy who has never had more than 6 sacks in a year AND is merely ok against the run. Guess they will still be the Lolphins
Ridiculous and edelman makes less than half of that. What will kenny britt get? He had a 1000 yard season.
I don't hear anyone say that about Phil Simms. And Simms atleast had one good year 1986, when he made first team All-Pro. Eli has never made first or second team All-Pro.
Eli will disappear into obscurity and mediocrity like Simms' career has. Noone calls Simms HoF calibre.
I think you are underestimating a) the Manning Inc. propaganda machinery and b) how corrupted the entire HoF process has become to the point where media relations have an almost bigger impact than what someone did on the field.
Exactly. We are seeing it right now how some of these writers are so petty that they ADMIT that they didn't vote T.O. in the HOF simply because he complained publicly about the process. But back then the media couldn't wait to drive to his garage and stick microphones in his face.
Heck, Polian unfortunately has a vote and he wouldn't vote for him or Moss just because. It's that bad.
Jags signing Calias Campbell.
