How much he's making the next two years?I want more than just blocking. Does he have the athleticism to get open. Don't we have lengel to block? Lol
So you admit you dont know anything about the guy you said is a bad trade when we really only gave up what you said he was worth in the first place after pick swap.

Based on twitter, Allen's game reads like a young Martellus Bennett. BB tbe wizard.

This addresses one of our top needs. Kind of surprised we pulled off a deal with the Colts, but oh well, I think he can help us.

Which they still can do if they feel so strongly about the player by picking earlier, trading down, trading up (not particularly expensive to get into the fourth round).

We are talking about a proven NFL ready blocker that doesn't need to be developed and is on a pretty friendly deal for the next 2 years before getting slightly more in his final year.

Where I'm really excited about Gronk and Allen as a tandem is the running game. Those guys + Develin + the emerging young interior OL = great googly moogly.

He's basically a cheaper and younger Martellus Bennett.

4th for Allen and a 6th.
We are also throwing in two "logo gauges" and a textbook:

Why? Gronk will be there. And clearly he has gotten open in the endzone, as said before. He had 8 TDs in 2014.

Patriots now have the following selections in the upcoming Draft:
Round 1: #32
Round 2: #64
Round 3: #96
Round 3: #103
Round 5: #163
Round 5: #183
Round 6: #200
Round 7: #239

You know....Colts

Listen i knew bennet was not gonna come back. Why not just draft one of these stud tight ends. Why waste 5 million dollars on a guy that has been pretty much a dissapointment. I guess bill thinks he can turn it around. I would be ecstatic if he can break 500 yards receiving. He hasn't done that in 5 years.
I can't with this kid anymore. Giving me a headache. Do your research before you post.

Not sure I like the part about God blessing the Indianapolis Colts....

Please explain how this trade is a big gamble since you disagreed with me saying it was not a gamble.

Thinking about the Pats legitimately going 22 personnel and stretching a defense in the passing game if they put Lewis on the field w/ Gronk & Allen.

He's nowhere near as good a receiver as Bennett.
And who cares. He isnt supposed to be and he has not played a snap for us yet.

And you are nowhere as good a poster as a bag of dogshit.

You said earlier in this thread that you think trading a 5th for Allen is a good deal, right? Well, assuming the picks being exchanged are 137 and 200, the the draft value disparity between those picks is equivalent to a mid-5th round pick. So by your own standards I can't see why you're unhappy with this trade.

I'm not a big fan of Allen either, but given how little we gave up and what the FA market for TEs looks like, the trade looks like a solid move.

I want a tight end that could give you at least 700 yards receiving. Idk how gronk will play. I am hoping he's the same gronk. Still hope we draft an athletic tight end.

Go get Jamaal Charles now since we're going to be running the ball this year.

You wanna make a bet this guy doesn't even come close to what an injured bennett did production wise. I know bennett wasn't coming back. Why not just draft a tight end. The value's immensely different. I feel he's a waste of cap space. It's a done deal. Gave up a fourth round where you can still get some value at a cheap price.

Think about it from a running game and O-line blocking perspective. It sounds like your thinking about offensive targets only.
