2017 NFL Combine Thread

Let's see how Witherspoon shows up. I really like this guy. 4.45 is great!

Excellent time for Witherspoon.

Kittle! Best blocker I've seen this year, and he put up a 4.5?? Bring him in, Bill.

Kittle has small hands for a TE.. 9 1/4. I could take a step down on the blocking for someone with bigger hands who runs the routes and catches the ball while providing above average blocking..

Shaheen could sneak into top 50 and we might see 6-8 TEs picked the first 2 days... I hope Pats use 2 picks in this draft on TEs.

I don't unless they plan on carrying 4 TEs. They have bigger needs at DE, DT and CB than they do at TE, imho. Though, that could change by draft time.

Good.
The best thing is Kittle's attitude and movement on the field, team first mentality, IQ.
True football player.
BBs coaching connection.

Was all set to be our UDFA steal and now this..

Here more on Kittle: 2017 Draft Prospect Thread

With the numbers he put up, might he not slip into the regular rounds of the Draft?

4.4 flat for Obi. Cripes.

Wow, ridiculous.

2 guys who I think are very overrated.

Obi and Taco. Neither have 1st rd tape or even close to it imo.

Taco is consistently last guy off the ball, too often no idea/plan when attacking the T and too many free/untouched plays.

Obi flashes but again nothing special on video. Certainly not the "thumper" that gets thrown around.

Moreau has been hovering around my top guys for a while now.

Took down the google docs so I think the twitter post will work fine for the eval's. I had np clicking on them? Banging em out after work

Now I'm really curious about Melifonwu's 10 yard split.

From CBS sports:

"At 6-foot-1 and 209 pounds, Godwin ran an official 4.42 40-yard dash, which ranked in the top five among all receivers. He was the only 200-pound-plus receiver to hit the 4.42 mark.

Godwin isn’t a slow receiver, but not many scouts expected such a fast time. When talking to him, he mentioned blocking, instincts, route-running and contested catches as the strengths of his game, but not speed. However, as his 40-yard dash showed, it probably should be."

I love his self-described strengths. And as they pointed out, no other receiver with his size ran that fast. He's been a bit of a favorite for a while, but now he's approaching binkie status.

It will be interesting to see how things shake out with Floyd and where they think that Devin Lucien is in his development. If they re-sign Floyd, I don't believe they take a WR at all except as a UDFA.. If they don't re-sign Floyd, then I could easily see them taking one in the 2nd round..

Interesting.
