Bring back the Hawk, if he's healthy. Boy I know Bob Kraft is not happy about this. It wouldn't surprise me if the Pats discipline him too. Very disappointing. It's a damn good thing they put Merriweather at Safety. Hopefully, that ding he took in the game is not to serious.

The only thing I can think is that he wanted to come back from his injury and resorted to this. I am not justifying it, and don't dismiss it, because it is cheating. However, that was my first thought.

Because of this he won't count towards the roster for 4 weeks and the Pats have to make one fewer cut.

Well, it isn't like the Pats have ran away from this stuff. They signed Sauerbrun even after that whole "TopCat" scandal.

They signed Morris despite a 4-game suspension a few years ago for substance abuse.

And then there was Cloud's 4-game suspension in 2003...
