I understand, but all the rest don't crap on it. Holley and Arnold don't crap on on it. Rich Keefe, I've come to like.Sad to say but Pete Sheppard is a welcome voice in the abyss of radio hosts in this town.
At least he loves Boston Sports. All the rest crap on it.

But, I admit that the rest are iffy at best. Zolak is obviously good on football, but he's literally painful on basketball and baseball, as is Fauria. Merloni was good, but now has learned phoniness works best. Ordway is just an arrogant jackass. With few exceptions, radio around here is horrid, except on WEEI from 2:00-6:00. To go back to the start, I understand why homers (and I'm one) like Sheppard, but he's just too bombastic for me. He strikes me as phony, but that's just me.
I don't hate Pete Sheppard, and honestly, there are much worse around then Pete. I guess he just irritates me when he drifts off to topics such as weather forecasters, the price of licorice and tire tread depth and screams about them.I like D&H
Pete's toned it down a little. Ordway was a bad influence
The sad part is Sheppard and Ordway are not the worst. Not even close. When you have walking wastes of sperm like Tomase, Maz, Shank, Felger, Tanguay, etc, etc. Sheppard and Ordway are almost a breath of fresh air. Losing guys like Price and McAdams really makes you wonder what the media management in Boston is trying to accomplish. As stated by others, hopefully Chris Price lands a better gig somewhere he will be appreciated. So, Chris Price and Sean McAdam get greased and jackasses such as Fat F### Sheppard and Ordway get second gigs. True. I change the station when Tanguay, Trenni, minihane are on and I still refuse to read Tomase who has taken much of Price's space lately. Toucher and Rich seem juvenile to me. They are either giggling like schoolgirls or sound like they are on something. The sad part is Sheppard and Ordway are not the worst. Not even close. Yeah, I don't think he's a bad guy. I actually worked with his brother-in-law for several years who spoke fondly of him, but also acknowledged Pete's "flakiness", for want of a different term.I hear you on that. He does wander off.
We all know Pete doesn't have the polish or depth the other guys have. I don't believe he is a phony though.
I actually met the guy a few years ago and he's a pretty good dude so maybe thats part of the reason I like him. He is who he is in person as he is on the radio.
Always liked Price. Hopefully, like Reiss,Howe and Curran, his next move is still primarily covering the Pats. We need as many true professionals as possible, to balance out all the clowns.
The flakiness shines though. No question.Yeah, I don't think he's a bad guy. I actually worked with his brother-in-law for several years who spoke fondly of him, but also acknowledged Pete's "flakiness", for want of a different term.
Gaspar?...I like Price, Reiss, Curran, Gaspar and Thornton.
Gaspar?Being fair there a lot of good bw covering the Pats such as Rich Hill, Mark Daniels (PJ), Doug Kyed, Gaspar, JT...
Gaspar?
WEEI has lost a true professional. Another site I won't be going to. Read every book about the Pats from him and always love his insights. Someone needs to pick him up. But regardless, I think I speak for everyone when I say thanks for everything. I've seen him on the board before, so if you're reading this...we Pats fans will follow you wherever life takes you. Thanks again!
Felger's an excellent example. I'd like nothing more than to beat him to death (not literally)
