Rogers would have climbed higher if he had been able to pull off a big comeback against the Falcons, but instead he just pouted and gave his teammates death glares when the did something wrong and passive-aggressively bumped into Atlanta players on the sideline. Meanwhile someone else I could mention stayed positive the whole time, rallied the troops, and completed a comeback for the ages.

I can't put Marino on the same level as Manning, as much as it shocks me to realize that. Say whatever you want about Manning, but he's got 2 rings and Marino has none.

I hear you, my Marino ranking was based on his tremendous arm. Not much upstairs but he could sling it with the best of the best.

Current top 10 without going too far back in time. You needed to play a decent amount in the super bowl era to make this list. Baugh & Graham will not be included here.

#1 Brady - GOAT
#2 Montana - 2nd best no question.
#3 Staubach - Has been my 3rd best for years and will continue to be.
#4 Unitas - Was one of the first modern QBs and did it very well.
#5 Young - He is Rodgers without that hesitation in the back of your mind.
#6 Elway - The most controversial great QB. Like Brady he improved as he got older though.
#7 Rodgers - No denying he is great but he seems to either coast or be selfish at times.
#8 Brees - Great QB. I have gained respect for his consistent greatness. Sadly I think he just has certain physical limitations though and he needs a defense.
#9 Manning - Can a choker get 2 rings? Yes. He did it. Still a great player and got his team to the playoffs without fail nearly every year. Got lucky with a few very stacked teams that carried him to championships.
#10 Starr - Haven't seen him play a ton but from what I saw on replays he is very underrated. IDC about what era you are in and who your coach is you don't win all those titles without great and consistent QB play and play great in those spots he did as well as regular season.

HMs: Marino, Kelly, Aikman, Bradshaw, Warner, Favre, Tarkenton (this list is not in order).

as the top 6 (regardless of order) is a list not worth reading. We (worldwide collective, not specific to this thread or board) probably need to change this to

"Top QB of the Super Bowl era".

Montana #2. I could put Manning #3, but I am not locked into that. Rodgers is N/A, and shouldn't even be mentioned.

Rodgers is by far the most talented QB I've seen in my life in terms of athleticism and arm strength, but I'm sorry, you need to win more Super Bowls than Trent Dilfer or Brad Johnson before I'm willing to even entertain him in the conversation of all-time greats. He's not even the best QB in his own franchise yet. He doesn't belong in this conversation yet.
