BB interviewed on NFLN.

Last question: what will you be feeling when you walk out on the field.

BB: Confident. That my team will be prepared and if they play well will be champions.

Deion flipped out at this and changed his pick to the Pats after saying he wishes he could pick the falcons because he is a falcon.

That post was worth seeing twice.

I said earlier in the week, the main reason I was confident the Pats would win this game was how incredibly confident and relaxed BB seemed this week. Much more than we see him week to week. even in the regular season. It really IS like he knows something we don't.

In the end this game will decided by who scores TD's in the red zone, and who makes the most "big plays", like turnovers. Just like most games between two good teams usually are. But it seems pretty clear that to BB, if the Pats play their A game and the Falcons play their A game, he thinks the Pats will win. And I take a LOT of comfort in that.

I foresee a cardiac bowl like always. Would be shocked if either team runs away with it.

6 total SBs in the BB era, 6 nail biter SBs in the BB era. Checking the math on that stat...I think it's a 57.2% chance of another nail biter??

Close 1st 1/2.............then the roof caves in on ATL.
Here is the number to watch. Brady and yards per attempt. If he is 14/20/115 not good. If he is near that 10 ypa number this is a defense he knows he can own.

And I expect the 10 ypa to come with a bunch of seam and crossing routes with room to run.

Yep but keep in mind (at least statistically) ATL is one of the worst in the NFL in covering TEs and RBs. They allow a ton of completions and ton of yards.

The Pats will exert themselves physically. Let's see how many Falcons get knocked out the game. Have the Falcons been in a street brawl?

your lips to God's ear.

AJ where is my calculation off?
If a QB does better than 7.5 avg per attempt and better than 60% completion rate, that usually means a pass offense is clicking well. 10 ypa at 60+% is one seriously lofty goal.

But agree that 14 of 20 for 115 more likely than not means nothing good -- unless Blount/Lewis/rushing game goes semi-nuclear and/or Atl turns the ball over several times near their own goal line.

Those plays for in to it. They also open up Edelman and hogan on crosses and seams.

Don't tell that to Falcon fans. Their forum keeps saying not to sleep on their defense, its a good unit.
