I like it. Especially after reading the Falcons forum, spouting off, that it would be a guaranteed 70/30 Falcons.

No offense to Falcons fans, because they're a pretty good Bunch, overall. But I feel much more confident, after reading their "guarantees"

A few may arrive today/tonight/early a.m. tomorrow. It's only about a two hour flight from Atl to Houston and then a half hour to the stadium.

I like Saints fans and LSU fans, fwiw.

That is just Philadelphia. Love the city but Eagles fans are terrible. Everyone should go to an Eagles game to understand they should never go to an Eagles game.
I went to an Eagle game in Philly back in 2003 or 4. Any way it was the year the Pats got off to a poor start and this was an early season "must win". It was also the game that Rosy Colvin hurt his hip, and the Pats won in a romp.

Any way I had great seats right on the 40, and impression I got from the Eagle fans around me was by the second series they were killing the Eagles, Reid and McNabb in particular. I mean by the 2nd quarter the only one who had anythng good to say about the Eagles was ME. . And remember this was a team that had gotten to the NFCCG a few times and the superbowl in 2004. I have never seen fans so hard on their team. (they'd be a good fit for the game day thread. )

Now as far as trouble, I wore no Pats gear, except my cap, and only received the usual stuff you'd get as a fan from another team, all pretty good natured. But then I was 6'1 210; still had an 18" neck, could still BP 25o, and at least APPEARED formidable. . Now day's I hope I'm still 6', have a 15"neck, would be lucky to BP the bar, and NO one at 70, appears formidable,

My friend who got the tickets, was the guy who lived in Jersey and I went to several Jets games with over the years. He was a Raiders fan, btw, who was an NFL freak. After the Jets game I usually went to his house, where he had a TV room with multiple sets and a different game on everyone, and we'd watch more NFL. Like I said this guy was an NFL freak. Anyways we were sitting in what amounted to the Red seats at Gillette. (Law firm tickets.) So that might have mitigated some of the animosity I might have felt if I was in the nose bleed part of the stadium.

Belicheat at it again, first the suitcase, then the drones, now he gets rid of all the fans!

So which is it? Cancelled or not?

Looking through his twitter people have footage of musicians playing to in a room full of Falcons' fans so if this wasn't canceled Burt needs to freaking retract it.

I was in Jacksonville for Pats-Eagles. We were greatly outnumbered - I think many NE fans sold their tickets to desperate Eagles' fans for big bucks, since it was the 3rd trip in 4 years for the Pats.

The Eagle fans were miserable - they'd run up to people with Pats gear on and throw punches. Miserable, miserable, miserable.

By contrast, the Carolina fans the year before were so nice I wanted them to almost win. That Houston SB was one of the best weeks I've ever had.

Jacksonville soured me on ever going back.

Philly fans are real tough....as long as they outnumber other fans.

My brother was also in Jax for Eagles-Pats. The night before the game he and his buddy were walking down the street and bumped into a group of about 8 Eagles fans. Eagles fans surrounded them, started talking trash and getting in their face. But another group of Pats fans showed up and when the the Eagles fans saw that the numbers were even they practically shat themselves and took off running

Agreed. However the Sportshub party right now is bigger than that.

Still, something.

Would be kinda ironic if this turns into a somewhat home-ish crowd where Atlanta has to deal with some noise on offense after all the ****talking Pats fans and Gilette gets.

Lol, I was probably in the other group - this was happening everywhere.

If you had Pats gear, you didn't walk alone.

I'll never understand fighting over a football game. When I'm tailgating I'll boo the other teams fans when they walk by etc but I don't go up n talk dumb ****. It's all in good fun. I've made friends with taints fans at a tailgate. It's just not that serious
