From what I've seen/read/heard of practices this week, it seems like they have been tough as hell. Not trying to p***y around.

These guys would eat glass if you fed it to them

Like 2014, I would expect BB to cancel tomorrow's practice. They are ready.

I hope so. He ran the players into the ground I heard in SB 42.

That is fact.

I don't think this time around Bill is driving them hard per se. I think they are just really ready and chomping at the bit.

Tony Mazz is ASCARED of the 3 point line.... Pats fans should be VERY CONCERNED :confused::confused:

I thought that practice had gone pretty badly that week...maybe that's why he kept pushing them?

Brown: Patriots didn't practice well before Super Bowl XLII
“I think some guys were a little bit uptight. Some guys didn’t really understand the moment,” said former Patriots wideout Troy Brown. “One of the biggest things that stood out to me that week, we just didn’t practice very well that week. I remember Bill stopping practice and pulling everybody off the field and having Jim Brown talk to us about the moment, which was embarrassing in itself because you’ve got one of the greatest players that’s ever lived watching you get ready for a Super Bowl and you look like crap on the practice field.

Do people like Faulk and Tim Brown come to the Super Bowl for the sole purpose of getting people listen to them ***** about the Pats?

They are not playing anymore. People don't remember them for anything anymore. They somehow need to make themselves relevant and they try and do everything they can to get attention. I haven't watched TV since after the AFCCG. Am switching it on right before start of SB. Life is good :D

I'm pretty sure we heard about how "ready" they were when they went out and put up 14 and 17 in the losses to the NYG, and if the recent last second win vs SEA is any indicator of how insanely prepared they were or whether or not practice should be canceled, I'd much rather see them on the field tomorrow.

Very interesting.

Pro Bowl center Alex Mack had his struggles in the Atlanta Falcons’ last full-speed practice of Super Bowl week Thursday afternoon at Rice University, and coach Dan Quinn said he was “concerned, yes’’ about Mack’s injured left fibula as the clock ticks down to Sunday’s game against New England.

“I just know his toughness and strength is so great,’’ Quinn said after another brisk and quick (88 minutes) practice on Rice’s grass practice field adjacent to Rice Stadium. “The good thing is I know he’s feeling better than he did in the NFC Championship Game. But yeah, I’m concerned. I’m not panicked, but I’m concerned.’’

Pool practice report: Mack struggled with left fibula injury; Freeney DNP with calf injury | Atlanta Falcons blog: Atlanta football news

Freeney did not participate, but the Mack situation is much more intriguing. If he struggles during the game, stopping Atlanta's offense becomes much easier.
