Hate to say it, but the graphics artist at my company doesn't even know who Tom Brady is. She recognizes the pats logo because of my coffe mug. Just saying, there is a lot of people that could care less....and even proof readers are looking at spelling and layout, not necessarily fact checking

I was thinking about that angle. I'm thinking that the mistake was in the layering. They probably had the template and the proof was good, but then when prepping the image for printing, they ****ed up and turned on/off the wrong layers, sent it to the printer and done.

Sure, the printer could have caught it, but usually, they'll run whatever they are given with the idea that the responsibility for content lies with the art department.

Regardless, there's some finger pointing going on right about now. It'll be a bit of a process to get that changed.

As for spotting the mistake, I worked for a new office location and the company who made our sign messed up. It was printed and hung and even spent a couple days up before someone realized it said "Cooming soon"
