Yeah, I did find it interesting that this year the home team went 4-0 during wildcard weekend after going 0-4 last year.

As someone stated, games themselves weren't good but I LOVED the Packers/Giants game.

Having to watch the Texans and Raiders just kind of bump into each other for 3 hours was awful. Adding more games will only make the NFL TV contract bubble pop sooner.

The way the teams for next week match up, we could see 4 more blowouts.
You think DAL could blowout the GBP...or are you being your usual contrarian self and have it the other way around?

As I suspected, the Doofins, Vagiants & Loins were all frauds; ALL of them. If their record matched their talent and season-long performance, they would have all finished 7-9, at best, and not even be in the POs
were it not for having horseshoes up their asses, and for the complete Suckitude of some of their opponent's
HCs & players.

The same could almost be said for the Seahags, who were really an 8-win performer. That division was the Cardinals' to lose, and they lost it; Seattle didn't win it.

The Faiders, of course, were done-for the moment that their QB broke his leg.

Now the POs really begin.

Week 6, at Lambeau:

Dallas 30
Green Bay 16

I hope goodell is happy about the crappy product he has put out there. all his quest for "parity" has really created is more bad teams.

I am not sure, were there more good teams before the Salary Cap, Free Agent era? The thing is with the NFL, I think there are actually a lot of good teams.. what the teams lack are just 2 critical pieces, coaching and a QB.

And I think poor coaching is a bigger issue with the NFL. Phillip Rivers is a good QB, at least I thought he was and when was the last time the Chargers were in the playoffs?

Point taken.

But, if Jordy Nelson hadn't spent the night in the hospital with a still undisclosed injury, I might try to argue that that game was before the Packers got their **** together and went on their run. However, a Jordy Nelson who was getting healthier every week after missing last season was a very big part of that run, so the argument wouldn't work.

Changing subjects, did you see the hit? Led with his helmet to the lower back/ribs. Way too close to a kidney for my comfort. Nothing funny about a bruised or lacerated kidney. I hope he's OK. Do the WR's feel that wearing a flak jacket impairs their speed or mobility? Because that's exactly the kind of injury a flak jacket is designed to limit.

When asked whether Jordy Nelson has any other internal injuries, McCarthy would only say he has a rib injury. No other info.

He may have gotten lucky, though it sounds like cracked/broken rib(s)
