I'm not quite sure what they did wrong on their OFF day. Where are the said drugs??

I'm glad I only had to go down two posts to find this. They had an off day. None of our business what they did. Nothing bad happened to our knowledge. And until we find out something did, it's a non story

Typically with drugs guns are not very far away.

And guns are bad right?
I've seen and done lots and lots of drugs and have never seen a personally-owned gun IRL other than my late-grandfather's.

And he wasn't into drugs.

Weed has been a normal thing that most Americans have partaken in for 50+ years now. Anyone who still thinks the presence of weed indicates that you're dealing with a hardened criminal is making no effort to operate in reality.

I assume it's just an open secret that most NFL players smoke it regularly, and I figure it's just a can of worms that the NFL doesn't want to open publicly. But their policies around drug testing make it pretty clear that the NFL is just in it for the plausible deniability of having a system in which all but the too-dumb-to-live can figure it out and pass without actually having to abstain.

Somehow I dont picture you or your Grandfather involved in the thug life.

Why not? You just said drugs are an indicator of it, and he admitted to using lots of drugs. Clearly, by your standards Patjew must be a hardened criminal. Me too, for that matter.

Absolutely.

Why would anyone need a gun when you have large sums of cash on hand. People are very honest.

150 pounds of marijuana, cash, guns found in Louisville house

... how is this relevant to anything? Do you think it takes 150 pounds of weed to roll a joint or something?

There's no reason to assume that the amount of drugs on that boat amounted to a significant amount of money. Smoking a joint and being a drug dealer are two very, very different things.

Because the NFL athlete and Pro Rap artist are on a whole different level.

A whole different level of what? Ditch the vague dog whistles and just say what you're trying really hard to imply.

Its relevant because guns are not very far from large quantities of weed.

It's obvious that Mac runs, shall I say, a loose ship, enabled by ownership & league HQ.
This Gilligan's Island excursion of theirs is a non-story…unless they lose in GB, and especially if the WRs
play a role in the loss. Then the NY media will feed on them like vultures.
Part of me would love to see this happen; another part of me, however, would love to see them in the SB
so that Brady can exact revenge.

Decisions, decisions...

Just what I said.

Different level. Higher level. Figure it out.

If that's the case, I was the biggest criminal since Al Capone in my early 20's.

So many righteous hall monitors ....

Ok, so let's approach this from a slightly different angle. When these guys roll up to the Kentucky Derby, what do you think?:

Keep in mind, one of the guys in their group (Welker) is clearly under the influence of MDMA, and their ringleader's (Brady) bodyguards were convicted of attempted murder a few years ago.

Clearly a bunch of thug professional athletes, right? If not, how is this different?

There are loads of people in all walks of life in this country today smoking weed regularly. CEOs of corporations, government officials, etc. I even know some law enforcement people who do it regularly. It's just mainstream now.
