In my opinion I do not think anyone who's been suspended should be eligible for MVP. As ridiculous and unwarranted as Brady suspension was that should be a rule.
As far as Rodgers goes, this is a man who threw his entire team under the bus after what, week 8!? Not to mention if he was truly the MVP of the league his team wouldn't be scraping the barrel for a wild-card spot... They would've been winning consistently. So basically you can say that his poor play earlier in the season set him up to come swooping in at the end of the season to possibly take the and MVP award. I honestly do believe he will win the MVP if the Packers make the playoffs. He is the darling of the NFL even when he sucks (qualifier: by great player standards)and he has please consistently subpar last year and more than half of the season, there are nothing but excuses from the media and fans for his poor play-- it's never on him, it's always because of the their crappy coach, injuries, or his own injuries (ever notice how he always is limping in the month of December?)
Whoever said he is the Peyton Manning of the league now nailed it that's exactly what he's become through the media. Arron Rodgers is indeed the new Peyton Manning!
