Maybe the Titan's coaches didn't want to endanger having January and February as time off from work.

The Titan's do have traditions to uphold after all.

The Titans GM is Jon Robinson, who was the Patriots' Director of College Scouting from 2009 - 2013, and was a general team scout from 2002 - 2008. He just took over the Titans GM role this year and the team is a surprising 6-6 at this point with Mariota showing good development.

I'm guessing that Belichick believes Robinson knows what he's doing, and that if he thinks Cox is done, then he's done. We'll see though.

I amend my statement.

It doesn’t get much worse for a corner than the performance from Cox this week. Targeted six times, Cox allowed a catch on each occasion, and those passes went for 142 yards (23.7 yards per catch) and a score. Andrew Luck had a perfect passer rating of 158.3 when targeting Cox in the Colts’ win, despite throwing the touchdown right into his hands, only to see Cox let it slip through them and into the waiting arms of his intended receiver, T.Y. Hilton behind him.

Sounds like he would fit in well with our secondary. JK guys.

This guy raped a girl with a date-rape drug. He insisted he never had sex with her, but a prenatal DNA test of the aborted result of that rape showed he was the father. He was acquitted, which is why he isn't behind bars, but I have great difficulty just ignoring the DNA because he's a good athlete.
