the difference in this game was brady. without him this becomes a toss up after it was 13-10. I maybe wrong on this but I personally feel there is something missing from this team, bonding wise, personality wise , something I cant put a finger on. Something which can tell you its their year.Yeah they are 8-2 and played whoever has been on the schedule but feels like the team is dragging its feet and holding on to something. They need a defining win in a tight game vs a good team I feel to rejuvenate themselves.Hopefully vs baltimore or denver.

you're suffering from "expectation bias"...a far smarter, visionary football person said it best..."Just Win Baby"

I assume by 2 incredible plays you mean the last two touchdown passes. I've been looking to see if anyone else thought so also. I'm not usually a "Brady is the greatest" guy, but I thought those two were jaw dropping.
LOL,then who are you usually " is the greatest" guy?

I still think we finish 13-3. We beat NY Jets both times and LA Rams. I say drop one between Ravens, Broncos or Dolphins.

It is always easier to know if it is their year in retrospect. In 2014, if Harmon is a step slower coming over or if Butler had not paid such good attention in practice, would you have known it was not their year? Likewise in 2015 when Ghost hit from 51 to beat the Giants or the 2 incredible 4th down completions to Gronk vs Denver - did they not seem destined to win? Every year has ups and downs and the margin between success or failure can be so small as to be deemed mere luck.

I know he is frustrated .reacting to fans never ends well usually.

Yeah. If I were him I'd ignore them. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't for some people. Can't say it isn't entertaining to see him give them the what for though.

Logan Ryan:
2 catches on 6 targets, 7 yards, 2 PD

Eric Rowe:
1 catch on 5 targets, 7 yards, 1 PD

Whining about perceived no-calls amidst a blowout in his teams favor. And for the turd cherry on top of the proverbial cake, both teams had realatively even numbers in terms of penalties and yardage.

Tomlin is a pathetic tool posing as a head coach. It's idiots like him running their mouths about officiating that contribute to this phenomenon where referees over-regulate these games now, rendering them borderline unwatchable and driving down ratings.
All of this is flawed.

You complain about officiating based on the officiating. If he's wrong counter the points he made.

Even numbers doesn't mean competent officiating. If one team commits 300 yds of penalties, the other commits 0, and both get flagged for 100 yds the officials did a poor job.

People with no direct power over the officials complaining about the officiating has little to no effect on officiating. The competition committee has been handing the officials unenforceable directives season in and out. The front office has been judging performances based on their opinions. These likely have resulted in the over officiating and ridiculous inconsistency.

Something is off with this team internally, and it saddens me, because this year is a great(and perhaps only) opportunity to cash in on number 5.

But......... I'll take the win.

Ya no clue why a Bay area guy would throw 17 times to another Bay area guy the first time they've played in the Bay area together.

Was today just about Bay Area guys first or should it have been about the team first?

How many times has bb said "the best interest of the team". Maybe today bb and mcdaniels created a bit of a double standard that comes back bite us.

You also forgot the "two other guys he'd rather throw to deep are out" part.

I counter Tomlin's points by pointing out that HE complained loudly and vociferously about headsets in a loss up here, headsets controlled by the NFL! I counter Tomlin by saying "YOU GET ZERO ROOM TO PROTEST ANYTHING YOU GODDAMNED FOOT TRIPPING IN GAME AZZOLE!".

I thought Van Nostrand looked good out there for his first game in a Pats uniform. Got a sack and was involved in at least 1 or 2 pass breakups from what I can remember.

Wheel routes are this teams death blow

"So how was the rest of Death Blow?"
"How was the rest of Death Blow?"
"Who got the final deathblow? I thought that Hawaiian guy had it coming to him, huh?"
"You make me get a ticket for this friend and then the guy forces me to bootleg a movie at gunpoint?"
"He's quite a character, isn't he?"
"He came by here last night at 3:00 in the morning to pick up the tape. I was scared out of my mind."
