ESPN Banned! Imagine Kraft acting against ESPN reporters like Cuban did

Whats the purpose of this thread? We've known for 2 years now that RK doesn't give two ****s about us or the team we love. As long as he's part of the "32", he's happy and he won't ever give a damn about us or his own team.

Cuban seems to be very petty guy. If you are going to deny credentials to BSPN, at least explain why.

You can Google it. It's bizarre.

And while catharsis is cool, I think I'll take Kraft's stewardship of the Pats vs. Cuban's tenure with the Mavs, especially post championship.

It amazes me how many people have never moved beyond the idea that the best thing to do is throw a temper tantrum because you didnt get what you wanted. It's something that my middle schoolers do and it's immature of them to do so; really what does this accomplish for Cuban other than making him look like a moron?

Good for him, I think it's a safe bet that it was warranted. Neither he nor the Mavericks owe ESPN anything. If I owned a team I wouldn't let especially bad ESPN 'reporters' hang around and stir up **** either.

When you peddle a trashy, unaccountable brand of 'journalism', you forfeit the right to be surprised or indignant when your subjects want nothing to do with you.

Ummm . . .

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban says his decision to revoke the credentials of two ESPN writers who cover his team was driven partly by concern that automated game reports could eventually replace human-generated content. . . .

”While it may seem counterintuitive to ban someone from covering us as a way of stopping automation, it really was my only option,” Cuban said. ”As is evident by the AP partnership with Automated Insights, it’s not if but when.”

Um what? That's pretty clearly nothing close to the whole story.

He declined to elaborate.

"It's between us and ESPN," Cuban said.

He has his reasons, and he's choosing not to spell out exactly what they are. Given that he's taken this step with ESPN and ESPN alone, I'd say it's pretty reasonable to guess that it has something to do with ESPN in particular.

ESPN Banned

Mark Cuban, an owner with cojones bans ESPN from the building *

Meanwhile, bend over Bob sucks up to this fast sinking den of perfidy

* Well, OK. He says "They can still buy a ticket."

Mods...please merger with earlier thread. My bad.

Yo! Bob! Are you listening?
Why don't you ban any ESPN employee that you are not contractually bound to admit to the Stadium?

I'm not too impressed or thrilled with this. He's basically buying the media and forcing them to go with a particular spin regarding his team or businesses. If they're critical, let's just block their access.

I'm not down with it.

It's no different than how the pathetic 32 used their business deal with certain media outlets to print their twisted version of the truth in Deflategate and Bullygate (or whatever it was called in Miami.).

The integrity on both sides are officially lost. Makes me wonder if the Ray Rice coverage was designed to distract everyone from CTE reports, though it completely backfired on the league.
