Sorry, I haven't read all of the posts but my stance is that ......while it's annoying, we shouldn't really get bent out of shape about people calling 'someone suspended for cheating' a cheater.

If I was a fan of another team I would probably say it too and use that as my rationale for why their team is always so much better than mine.

Because I'm a fan of the Pats, I don't have to do that. Fine, keep calling us a cheater....we'll be busy winning games.

I'm still surprised though that the NFL fought so hard to create this situation. I mean, really, what other league goes out of their way to villify their most marketable and popular assets. If anything I would think leagues would be covering up for their star players.

I will never understand the need for people to get all bent out of shape every time one of these bitter losers who we dominated (Like Wayne and Marshal Faulk) says something stupid. Stupid people are going to say stupid things. So what? All he did was identify himself as an absolute imbecile.

This news is right up there for me with who Taylor Swift is dating this month. Completely irrelevant. Anybody with an IQ north of 85 knows Brady didn't "cheat". That's all that matters.

Lol and we always talk about how ESPN is out to get us. But look there and listen at around 11:35 what he said. Basically calling it a bunch of BS and saying how Brady's giving the middle finger to the NFL.

It's crazy, but most of the rhetoric I've seen from ESPN and FS1 is all very positive on Brady right now (outside a couple idiots but they seem to be a minority) and NFLN here is the only ones stupid enough to keep on babbling on about claiming he cheated.

I still say **** ESPN for their part in all of it, but it's no coincidence to me that the NFLN, the network with the NFL's hands shoved miles up their asses, is the only network that still has a bunch of analysts on there talking about how Brady cheated. Even most of the ESPN analysts have moved on. And that's pretty telling.

I despise and will always despise ESPN for their prominent role in sensationalizing and exaggerating both Gates. With that said, you're right about the sea change in their treatment of the Patriots. Maybe it's the forced departures of guys like Carter and Lewis,among other things. Despite myself I've meandered back to Mike and Mike in the mornings because, frankly, they treat NE much better and more fairly than Toucher and Rich whom I have really come to dislike. I can only speak for M&M and the show with Smith and Hill. I don't watch any other ESPN shows.

I don't mind Rich because he's still pretty funny and seems like a nice guy, pushing back against Fred when he spews his useless opinion. Wallach is actually pretty funny after a while and obviously strongest at sports. Fred is useless, drags the show down and interrupts good discussions with childish insults/stories/references etc. I'll take 2 hours of Merloni trying to talk Pats over 2 min of Toucher's "entertainment". Terrible.
