With no need to resign Collins/Jones now, I wonder if they'll actually be in on one of these high priced defensive players. They should be.
Collins and Jones' moves may be more related to creating cap room for hightower, butler and others, not necessarily outside players.

Joe Thomas cap hits if traded:

2016: (9/17) * 8.3 million: 4.4 million
2017: 8.8 million
2018: 8.8 million

Cannon and Vollmer are 2017 FAs. Could move Solder to RT and draft a swing tackle next draft.

Cannon's playing too well at RT to bench though.

Have we inquired about Sheldon Richardson? He's an experienced inside linebacker.

Will the Patriots trade any more of their players (Ryan, Shead, McClellin) , for conditional draft picks?

Cowboys have something going down there.
If they make the right moves and let Dak Prescott start rest of the way, I think they have a team capable of making a deep run in playoffs (NFCCG I would say) considering how others top tier teams in NFC are playing.

It also depends on how well Jason Garrett can coach them nearing the end of the season and in playoffs. So far he has been excellent.

They will find a way to screw it up. Watch.

One of the hosts on Mad Dog sports radio this morning was saying Denver should trade Paxton Lynch and DeMarcus Ware to Cowboys for Romo. Denver won without Ware this season and Siemien can backup Romo. I think it'll be a good move for both teams.

It's not the coach. It's not the QB. It's not even the RB.

Dallas is as good as their OL.

....and even if Dak falters, I may be one of the few who think- while made of glass, Romo can still be a pretty decent QB.

Trade for Shaq Thompson from the Panthers.
