It looks like Ravens' defensive coordinator Rex Ryan is hard at work creating new wrinkles for the defense. Hard to imagine a 340 NT at ILB on a consistent basis. Obviously this is not likely to see much if any action in the regular season, but it's interesting none the less. It also seems like Ryan is trying to fill the versatility hole to an extent that A.D.'s departure left. (Again, I know he's not really trying to replace Thomas with Nagta.)

Can you imagine Wilfork lining up in a 2 point stance? Not something I would personally want to see out of our NT.

That would be hilarious.

If smith spans out as NT backup i fully expect smith and wilfork at DT and seymour and warran outside.

watching the colts it clear to break the colts inside presure has to come and 2 DT playing presure with seymour and warran in the flanks would be enough to unsettle them.

I thihnk ryan is experimenting if the DL engages the OL and the gaurd come in for the ILB i could see this work as this guy be big and strong enough to tackle the RB,.
