pass-rush - It's there. You just don't understand that the other team has players also and that you don't rush the passer every down. Hell, you never take the possibility that the game plan may call for containing a QB with the ability to run. You were whining last year when the Pats Defense was 2nd in the league in sacks. So, you'll forgive me if I put absolutely no faith in what you have to say.

As for the coverage, you've never been a fan of bend don't break. But it's taken them to 6 SBs, 4 of which they won. Hell, they'd have gone to at least 2 more if the refs weren't against them in certain games (AFCCG against Colts, AFCCG v. Denver, AFCCG v. Baltimore). The CBs are making plays when they really need too. Or did you miss the PBU in the end zone yesterday??

What about a guy like kawaan short. He's a free agent. Panthers's season is over. I would give up a 5th for a rental.

It would have to be more than that even as a half-season rental, considering that the Pats would likely be getting a third round comp pick after he leaves as a free agent.

Love that idea. Had 11 sacks from the INTERIOR last year. Exactly what we need. Not necessarily the sacks, but pressure is the key.
