Done for the season. Apparently the recovery for his shoulder surgery is too long for him to return this season.

You will never hear a sound from any of our coaches about this happening. Why ? Because we are ****ing prepared for those things to happen and just move on.

I am very pleased by the results of today's game. The Patriots struggled on offense in the first half BUT Touchdown Tommy to the rescue in the final 2 minutes to put us ahead by 3! That's what separates the Pats from the other teams. The execution in key moments of the game.

And the second half was simply beautiful. Hightower's safety provided an instant ignition. Off his safety, Brady marched down the field and immediately scored a TD. Now we're up 19-14. And we continued to dominate the game from that point forth!

The only sad part about the game is that Burfict got away with murder. Taking cheap shots, instigating fights, and did not receive a single flag or even warning from the refs.

And you know what? Whoever mistakenly called timeout, thank you! I was happy to see us score the final TD to rub a little more salt in the wounds. We were going to just take a knee, but the Bengals were such thugs today they deserved the extra insult!!

Another great game from Brady. I liked this week's better bbetter as we made needed adjustments and improved in the 2nd half.

Watching our kick and punt coverage is a thing of beauty. If this continues into the playoffs at or near this level it'll have a huge impact on the games.

So glad we hopefully won't have to play the bengals at least another 2 years. Burfict is a POS, thankfully he didn't end Bennett's season like he did to 2 steelers.

Ghost is clearly having issues but if anything, glad it is early on in the year and he has time to sort himself out. I think he will be fine.

Got alot of help this week. Den, Pitt, and oakland all losing. Firm control on the #1 seed, of course a loss next week would change that completely.

Who they absolutely should have signed instead of Knighton.

Not trying to be snarky but I don't think many expected Knighton to fail because he couldnt grasp our scheme so it's a bit of a hindsight thing. There were enough people that questioned his fitness ect. but being unable to grasp the techniques we are using was a bit unexpected.

Agreed however we should pay Bennett the money he deserves. No need to low ball him

There is no way he will get a market value offer from our front office. He will get an offer that pays him according to whatever BB & co. project his future role to be. So, if he wants the big payday he will leave in February.

Anytime we can win a conference game, I'm happy!!!! Thought we didn't play our best game, but a win is a win. Was happy with Blount, Rowe, Hightower, Gronk and Tom!!!!

Why do you guys follow the game thread and then complain about it? You can just watch the game and know what's going on. The game thread is knee jerk reactions for each play. People vent and get excited. It's not for the weak at heart. I personally enjoy it. IMO

Well, I personally enjoy rubbing the Chicken Little's faces in their stupidity and enjoy doing it outside of the game threads too. That's part of the same equation. Negative whiners suck and should be called out on it as often as possible so they man up and stop acting like the beaches they are.

yes it is.
pats punting is never a good outcome .. but watching the boys killing the return is a great remedy

Horse collar is meant to protect a running ball carrier down the sideline. AND you have to grab the inside the neck portion of the shoulder pads.

I think they changed the rule to include any grab above the nameplate:

By no means. Constructive criticism, observations of poor play, identification of weaknesses are all welcome. Let me wade through the mud for a second (won't take long) and find a few examples of the absurdity I refer to...

That was a quick review of about 10 pages of the game thread. It's the usual suspects, if we don't win 56-0 without a single punt and the other team not getting into our half all game, they'd still whine. Tiresome.
