Count me in for the 14-2 record, with losses to Miami and Baltimore...

I do agree with one of the posts... Denver and Pats for the AFC title game at the Razor...

Division winners

Pats
Bengals
Colts
Broncos

Wild Card
Ravens
Chargers

The Pats might DO IT if Asante quits whinning and wants to earn that money they might DO IT. Other wise I see a 14-2

13-3

With losses to Phins OF COURSE
Bengals
Cowboys

14-2 with losses due to those damn refs.

11-5 w/o Samuel and with the usual rash of injuries to defensive starters.

13-3 with Samuel and minimal defensive injurues.

13-3
Losses
  • at CIN (primetime on the road)
  • PIT (short week after physical game @BAL, lookahead to Jets, annual clunker)
  • at NYG (short week, primetime on the road, resting players)
Tough Wins
  • at NYJ (no particular reason, Pats just better team)
  • SD (Bolts have to travel cross-country after playing da Bears)
  • at DAL (short week for cowboys balances out Pats travel)
  • at MIA (Dolphins busy packing their knickers for London trip)
  • at IND (Colts coming off physical roadtrip at JAX and at CAR, lookahead to trip to SD)
  • at BAL (Ravens traveling back from SD, lookahead to hosting Colts)

I'm leaning towards a Country/Bluegrass theme, or maybe some mariachi music, in keeping with the Glendale, AZ location we're hoping they see. Something light years better then Da Bears Super Bowl Shuffle.

Asante Samuel is not worth one whole win. The DBs that get all Camp to prepare will be fine once the season starts. Pats have the best front seven in the league which makes the secondary better than most without Asante. I'm sure NE will have injuries and will most likely lose a few. But NE is still favored in just about all these games.

This schedule is not harder than last season. Den, @Cinci, Indy, Bears, @Jax, and even @Tenn (who had won six in-a-row). Down the stretch last season was really tough. Winning the last three after the Miami game was pure guts. This year SD, @Dal, @Indy and only one hard game after the bye...@Balt. I say NE wins at least two of these games. Ths team plays very well on the road because they are so mentally tough.

As of now this team is 0-0 and is focused at performing well at practice tomorrow.

I only put the Dallas game on there because it's a road NFC game with no familiarity.

Crazy side note is the number of 3-4 defenses on the schedule.

10-6 and 2nd place in the AFC East.

Seriously, I just dont rate you guys as high as most people do.

I think with the weak secondary + ageing LB core + some overated players (IMO) the Pats may struggle this season. I know I'll be killed for this comment but these are my honest views.

Needless to say the new champs will not be either the Bills or the fish.

I think your prediction sucks, but that is a cool looking pic you have in your footer.

Cheers about the sig, got it from jetnation.

as for my prediction, I wasnt exactly expecting a kind response.

14 - 2 wait and see.

By the end of the season yet another Keegs prediction will come true.

17-2 (14-2 in the regular season ).

They will be a better team than 2004 (like that year's 17-2 was better than the 17-2 in 2003), but jeez, there just isn't much margin above 17-2.

If I was an ice skating judge, I'd say 18-1 just to indicate the greater talent level this year, but it is incredibly tough to only lose 1 game all year.

18-1 and in the following season, they will re-write the record for most consecutive wins.......BOOK IT!!!

Sportsbook.com has the over/under on Patriot wins at 11.5. I'll take the over and hope the Pats stay healthy. Lack of depth at the CB position is my biggest concern. Pats go 12-4.

13-3. I see one BS loss to a crap club (Browns, 'Skins, Steelers, Eagles, Giants) one loss against the iron of the schedule (Colts, Bolts, Bengals, Ravens, Cowboys) and one division loss (I'll say 10.21 vs Miami).

I'm prepared that they won't play that well in the early going. They have some new WRs that might take a few weeks to jell with TB.

Other than that, this team will be peaking in Nov/Dec and roll on through the AFC playoffs with home field and crush the Cowboys in AZ.
