Report: Patriots Using Tom Brady’s Toughness To Push Jimmy Garoppolo To Return

Who would give them this info? Probably made up.

Is this "pressure" somehow specific to the QB position? They can't apply the same pressure to Gronk and his hammy?

I don't buy it.
If you can't throw or run, you can't throw or run. But you gotta be wicked smaht to figure that out on your own like I did!

Yes, because I believe everything on the internet. Especially about "inside" information on the Patriots from people on the "outside".
You mean the dope that claimed he had "inside information" that JG broke a bone?

Hahahahaha!!!!!!

That dude better be hiding

Is there even a source to this? Only in New England I tell you

Insert new name into mix. "Russell Wilson being pressured to play in week 3 despite injury." Somehow it just doesn't seem to make headlines because it's not the big bad Patriots with their many runs in with the NYJFL. Keep them coming mediots. Still making imaginary headlines keeping this league relevant with the "reality gossip" world we live in. Where would you be without the villian?

It only has to hurt for two more weeks, then he can ice it on the bench. I tore my rotator cuff and still finished the hard labour project I was on, it's just pain management.

I buy it. For years Brady would end up on the injury report as questionable or probable. I always thought it was Belichick playing games, but in an interview a year or two ago Brady talked about how his shoulder and elbow were constantly in a lot of pain. That's what led him to his personal trainer Guerrero.

I thought Brady on the injury report in perpetuity was because Brady liked to ice his shoulder after games (like a pitcher) and someone raised a stink about it?

There are rumors about Brady playing so injured that he needed assistance taking on and off his shoulder pads because he couldn't lift his arm. Now I don't know if it was his throwing shoulder or not, but he has played with significant injuries that no one knew about. He could barely walk in the Super Bowl in 2008.

That's the one that pisses me off. When I think that the 2007 Patriots are a rolled ankle in a championship game (1 freakin' play!) away from being the only 19-0 team in NFL history, I go to a very dark place, where kittens and rainbows cannot survive.

I smell a league investigation. For what? Who knows? They'll come up with something, ass wipes.

Because they are just a bunch of chatterboxes.

If it'is just a garden variety AC sprain and nothing more, he'll be shot with cortisone and should be able to play through it.

It's considered pretty minor and it's common for guys to play with this injury all season and get it fixed in the off season.

This however all depends on whether anything else happened to the shoulder and how severe the AC sprain is.

Wasn't that Randy Moss in 2009 or did Brady do that too?

I can imagine both the team and Jimmy himself will want him to play if he can. His 4 game audition in front of the entire league (if they are going to trade him) ends in less than 2 weeks.

Dad Gordy is a mitigating factor in Gronk's case.
