Is this "pressure" somehow specific to the QB position? They can't apply the same pressure to Gronk and his hammy?
I don't buy it.
100% true. I read the same article. It was a lengthy piece. SI maybe?I buy it. For years Brady would end up on the injury report as questionable or probable. I always thought it was Belichick playing games, but in an interview a year or two ago Brady talked about how his shoulder and elbow were constantly in a lot of pain. That's what led him to his personal trainer Guerrero.
This sounds a little too extreme to be true...do you believe this?
sources = tom brady spreading rumors about garoppolo being soft (at the same time pumping himself up). ensures JAG is the one traded at the end of the season and not him.The Patriots are using Brady’s toughness to push Garoppolo “to be ready as quickly as possible,” sources told the Boston Herald’s Jeff Howe on Tuesday. Brady has played multiple games during his career with a similar injury, and the Patriots are reminding Garoppolo of this to pressure him to play, according to Howe.

Brady is one tough mother F**ker. There are some games I just don't know how the hell he stayed in.
That said JG has already shown some toughness on his own. I don't think anyone needs to push him to play through pain if he can play.
If he is playing it's because he wants to play and not because someone pressured him into it.
Yep. Thats it!I just spent about five minutes googling. I found it just before I was about to give up. NYT Magazine

It's a great read.
Different injury. Gronk not pain management but risk of tearing hammy and missing extended time.Is this "pressure" somehow specific to the QB position? They can't apply the same pressure to Gronk and his hammy?
I don't buy it.
If this story is true, this is BB testing Jimmy big time. Assuming his shoulder cannot be damaged any further BB is measuring what Jimmy's pain threshold is.
