Houston has never played he Pats when they start a 3d string qb w 3 days of prep, too....What makes me feel good about this game are the following 2 things:
1. Houston usually ****s the bed in prime time games.
2. Houston always ****s the bed in Foxboro.
TAKE THE PINTS!!!!
I MEAN POINTS
Looks like the oddsmakers took the pints.
Yes, I re-followed you. I am a tolerant person. It's not like you framed an innocent man for removing air from footballs.
And I think the short week HURTS us more than it hurts them.
Nothing up on my site yet regarding the total. The spread, as mentioned, is HOU-3.Being at home, both for the stadium and the extra day of practice should help.
I don't bet, but I am curious what the over/under is for total points on this game.
The Texans have done a good job of adding other receiving talent around Hopkins--who will be a handful by himself as it is. First round pick rookie Will Fuller has topped 100 yards in both of his first two games and looks very explosive. This isn't bringing Braxton Miller into the equation, as he's still getting acclimated to their system and hasn't received many looks yet.Shut down Lamar Miller, force the game into Osweiler's hands, and at minimum, break even with Houston's DL and the Patriots are in with a great shot.
I understand Houston is collecting a fair amount of skill position talent @supafly it's more I'm not impressed by Osweiler. Mind you, I just watched Ryan Tannehill go all world on the Patriots in the second half so what do I know? The Texans have done a good job of adding other receiving talent around Hopkins--who will be a handful by himself as it is. That's not meaning to disagree with your thinking in any way, but rather to touch on the "force Osweiler to beat you" theory. What you say makes a lot of sense, but we'll need our secondary to play much better.
