Today that is easily explained by Brissett not being patient..
Or not being predictable but it could be patience.

It looked like they were playing a lot of Cover-3 (can't be 100% positive, though, since I don't have the All-22) and weren't sending any extra rushers the majority of the time. Tannehill was facing a zone defense without being rushed. Most NFL-caliber quarterbacks can rack up yards and points against a defense like that. The Pats have done that with big leads quite a few times before. Whether they should have done it today or not is something else entirely. Brady was not coming in when they allowed the opposing offense to drive slowly for the score. This was a rookie who is very raw and who they clearly didn't trust. It was bad coaching and they're lucky it didn't cause the game to go into overtime.Defense gave up 21 points in the second half, 14 coming in the 4th and Miami had a chance to score another TD. That's not championship defense. It's only week 2 and they will get better, as all BB defense does every year, but that was an awful second half.
Patriots defense played in a long time
To me it is more of BB and McD thing. I have watched too many Brady led games where the Pats come out to run out the clock in empty backfield throwing the ball.Today that is easily explained by Brissett not being patient..
We are 2-0 w/o Brady, better than a phyrhic victory if you ask me. If Jacoby snags us one victory of the next two, we are in as good of shape we could've hoped for.Only two words - pyrrhic victory.
Agree with all of it except one item. I think Brissett is a keeper too. I really hope Jimmy is okay and is not hurt too badly. But I don't understand the fan sentiment that Jimmy and Brady are both keepers. To me it seems either Brady or Jimmy will be on the roster in 2017, but not both. I am sorry if I am wrong, but to me, it seems that Brady is still the guy (unless he plays like Peyton did last year).Great to get the win.
Bennett is a great player. Hogan was a solid addition as well. We have excellent depth at the skill positions this year. Teams are going to have a hard time double Gronk and/or Edelman and leaving Bennett, Hogan, Amendola, White, Lewis or Foster 1 on 1.
O line was great in the first half and on that last drive where we ran it 10 times.
It's a real shame Grop got hurt. Kids a keeper.
Brissett is not ready. Gonna be tough to win Thursdsy. Can't wait for Tom to get back.
Defense was fantastic in the first half. Second half we were terrible. Chris Long has been a fantastic addition.

It was the defense for the second straight week failing to perform when it mattered most.
We can keep both Brady and Grop at a very reasonable price next year. It's the year after that Jimmy is FA and salary becomes an issue.
Brissett wasn't bad but I don't think he threw more than 5 yards downfield once. It speaks to the coaches trust in him and is what we should expect from a 3rd round rookie.
They are 2-0 w/o Brady, Gronk and a 3rd string Qb played pretty well.
God sakes folks. Big picture here...

Week 2 last year was worse
Up 37-13 at the beginning of the 4th quarter then allowed the jills to score 3 straight TD in 7 minutes and they actually had the ball looking to tie it up at the end until the defense picked it off.
and that game Brady was the QB, not a 3rd round rookie.
