First outing of our starting OL was very promising.
Hats off to all 7 though, to Scar and rotation principle.
Lets get 100% now and stay healthy.

A win in the division is always a plus. I think our O-line's run blocking this game was really good as well. Bennett played great!!! Also thought Long had a great game!!!
Our defense is going to need to be better, especially if Jimmy can't go the next two weeks.

I'll be ecstatic if we walk away from Thursday with a win.

I'll just say we are 6-1 vs the Texans and Watt was neutralized last year and has been for most matchups. Different team and situations though, no doubt.

Damn I love Chris Long, he's being interviewed on the 5th Quarter and he still has his face paint on...guy has got to be so happy being in a winning atmosphere now...

Can't believe I thought he would be another Shaun Ellis signing.

He is one of the be(a)st NE players over 2 games in my book.

I really have no clue why BB and Patricia decided to go so zone-heavy and employed so much Cover-3 in the second half. Especially with a QB on the other side of the ball that they clearly didn't trust. They were shutting Tannehill down in the first half and should have stayed aggressive. Not doing so nearly cost them the game. But I'll take the win. I said they would go 2-2 in preseason and, should that be the case, I would not be disappointed. So, even if that's the case, I think the team will still end up alright. That said, BuffaLOL is a dumpster fire and that could be a very winnable game even with Brissett playing QB.

Is Edelman hurt? Looks like he got the ole bell rung.

What two AFC teams are both 2-0 and have the largest point differential (points for minus points against)? Pittsburgh at +30 and Houston at +16 (who just beat a strong KC team). I think Houston will be a very tough opponent this Thursday.

Understandable to see offense take a step back with Jimmy injury.

But what happened to the defense? No pressure on the qb, secondary looking like it's 2010-2012 again. I really hope they can fix that.

OL was not very good today, too many times Jimmy and Jacoby was running for their lives.

Did Edelman play the 4th quarter? I think that the Pats kept him on the sidelines because of the injury to Garoppolo since he's their Emergency QB and since the team doesn't have another eligible QB on the Roster.

If you're right, then it suggests they WILL sign another QB, so that Brissett can have Edelman to throw to.

??

Garoppolo was basically untouched in the pocket. Might have hit him once or twice while he was in there and maybe pressured him a couple other times outside of the play he got injured on. You don't go 18 of 27 for 234 yards 3 TD in the 1st half if you were "running for your life"

Brissett was 6 of 9 so too small a sample size

Box score has the lolphins for only 2 qb hits. Honestly a line of Suh, Mario Williams and Wake should be hitting the QB more than 2 times and the funny thing is neither of the hits came from any of those 3.

Oh and OL was huge in run blocking today, 160 yards on the ground and that beautiful 13 play, 54 yards 5 minute drive at the end where they ran it 10 out of 13 times. Just lined up and said "we''re gonna run it, try and stop us" and if Ghost hits would have put the game away

It's obvious that Brissett won't be getting much sleep between now and Thursday.

But that's even more true of the coaches, who may well have TWO inexperienced QBs to get ready.

And by the way -- there may be more practice for a lot of guys than they'd like in a short week, so as to help with the QB readiness ...

Having a 2-0 record is what we wanted and it's what we got. Even if they go 2-2 Brady has a 2 game cushion for the rest of the season. Anything more than 2 wins is icing on the cake.

The Oline looks much better than last year and is giving our QB's more time and our RB's holes to run through.

I can't remember Blount running that hard. It's the best I think I've seen him other than the Colts game a few years ago.

Bennett...... What a freaking beast. He and Gronk are going to demolish people. Can't wait to see that. Bennett should also be credited with some of the improvement we are seeing in the Oline.

Amendola/Hogan/Edelman - are some quick ass receivers. Brady must be licking his chops itching to get back behind center.

Brissett - Brissett gets an A+ from me. Not only did he not make a mistake he took an errant snap and and was somehow still able to hand it off to Blount for a gain. He managed the game, took what the defense gave him and looked composed. Good stuff. Hopefully he can continue to grow over the next few seasons but he definitely delivered in a big way today.

The Defense - I'm going to reserve judgement of them for this week. They performed well in the first half and imploded in the second half. Not sure if it was a combination of getting dinged up during the game, the no huddle offense wearing them down or that they went into a more preventative mode to burn out the clock because of the QB situation.

Heart breaker for JG. He really looked good again this week. I hope his injury is nothing serious.

2-0 that's what I was hoping for.

Defense gave up 21 points in the second half, 14 coming in the 4th and Miami had a chance to score another TD. That's not championship defense. It's only week 2 and they will get better, as all BB defense does every year, but that was an awful second half.
