I think that BB was trying to stick to the "code" where you don't grab other teams late round draft picks if they plan on putting them on their practice squad (in hopes that the league would give him the same consideration (they didn't). I remember a few years ago, he got really pissed at I think it was the Lions, for putting in a claim.

It was Mike Tice and the Vikings. The player was TE Garret Mills.

Have we waived anyone with Rowe coming over? Saw Kline was not part of the deal. Is he waived or has someone else been waived?

Kline was released today (9/7) according to NESN.

Brilliant move by BB. In Jan 2015 the league tried repealing the Ideal Gas Law to screw the Patriots. With all the rumors about electromagnetic interference in communications at Gillette BB has proactively moved his chess piece into position, now staffed for Gause's (sic) Law EMI warfare vs the perfidious NYJFL.

Joker can thank me for exposing this.

Might be because Gause is already there...

rutgers guy.

This gause?

Ugh, makes me think of having my wisdom teeth pulled...

I believe that the Pats are ahead of the curve in football helmut design for this EMI warfare also, a picture of the prototype football helmut is attached.

Patriots add Quentin Guase to Practice Squad; release Rufus Johnson

Rufus has a far, far better chance of making a living in the league than something called Quentin Gause
ever, ever will. Why Bill bothers himself with junk like this is one of life's mysteries.

Well someday, in a less judgmental world, what someone, who may or may not be a famous professional football coach, and a consenting giraffe, do in the, supposed, privacy of their own home, will not be an issue, and Polaroids or not, signings like this will be a thing of the past.

Johnson is 26 years old and has essentially not played football for 3 years, appearing in 1 game and making 1 tackle.
Gause is a 23 year old rookie.
Bill Belichick feels he has a better shot at helping his team.

How long is it going to take you to learn that you are really bad at evaluating football players, transactions and roster decisions?

I see what you Dunning-Kruger did there...
