For a guy I thought could compete for CB2 this year Roberts looks cooked. The two practices I went too his coverage was spotty. LeBlanc looks above him on the hypothetical camp depth chart.

1. Butler
2. Ryan
3. Coleman
4. C. Jones
5. J. Jones
-------------
6. LeBlanc
------------
7. Biggers
8. Roberts
9. Bentley

He sure can hit/tackle though. I'd keep him on the PS as a safety project.
Man, I agree on Roberts. I think quite a few people on the board were expecting more from his brief spark last TC. Maybe it's rust or maybe he was never really that good? It's hard to judge. But I've not heard or read one good thing about him that I can recall.

With Shea McClellin and Rob Ninkovich not participating, Jonathan Freeny was the third linebacker. Ramon Humber was the top backup

Where did KGH line up then?

Brady was 7-14 in 11s, 11-22 overall. Garoppolo 9-12, 13-18 Brissett 4-8 Cutler: 11-18, 17-28 Hoyer: 9-12 INT, 14-17 INT Shaw 0-3 Fales 2-2

Jimmy with a nice day. Glad to see that. Brady with a "meh" day. It's fine. He is Brady.

I'm not trying to sound like some keyboard tough guy but, I had a feeling that elbow injury wasn't going to be some kind of season ender. As soon as I heard it was dislocated I breathed a sigh of relief. It's not too surprising to see him out here already. But I think my expectations were for a quick recovery after Rondo went through the same thing vs the Heat

If it wasn't obvious from last Thursday night, Collins could very well be vying for DPOY this year.

I hope so but i don't. If he plays that good no way we can keep him but if he does play that good we likely get the #1 seed.

For me he's been the #1 surprise disappointment of camp, he really did look good last year.

Maybe we should compose a "Ballad of Darryl Roberts" to sing to anybody who recommends "stashing" a rookie on IR. A rookie year spent banished from the practice field is a major career obstacle.

Right. It's a Catch 22 of epic proportions. You'll love it short term but long term it may hurt you.
