Just bought a couple tix for Pats/Jets at MetLife on November 27 in prime time. Beyond pumped up.

Ironically will be the 3rd straight season with a November trip to MetLife. Last year, I went to the pats/Giants game November 15. In 2014, I went to the 49ers@giants (9ers won 19-14).

Although pumped, im kinda cautious because from what I heard, jets fans can be a lot worse than Giants fans when it comes to heckling fans of the opposing team. Last two years, Giants fans weren't hostile at all, they were pretty cool for the most part.

Anyone else going? If not, anyone else that has been there know of any things to do in the area before or after the game (staying for a few days). Any decently, not too crazy expensive hotels around?

Thanks fellas

Not a hell of a lot to do in the swamps of Jersey, but you're obviously close to nyc.

Fans are fine in New York… I've been out here for 20 years now and I've had obnoxious friends go with me to Yankees games and Jets games, it's never a problem. Most people are cool, it's just sports for god's sake.

I'd recommend mop 4

Jets fans are so soft. I had 1 guy..1 guy say something to me..and this was ONLY after the Pats lost after they were up all game. They were yelling at each other the entire time about sanchez...a fight even broke out over Sanchez..yes that isn't a typo.

I am headed to the Pats/Bills game IN Buff this year..Buff fans i expect to be worse. Not awful..but Jets fans are soft

Your typical Green Beans fan evokes that overgrown adolescent nephew with ADHD/anxiety disorder who always is breaking things, insulting people and getting into trouble.

that would require giving the NFL money.......so no, you won't see me there unless someone gives me free tickets, but even then I would likely just sell them

Whew, thanks for chiming in and ending the suspense!

I go almost every year since the early 2000's and haven't had any issues.
