Larry and MJ never once lay down and quit.Because he has had 3 or 4 bad playoff series over a 13 year career? Do you really want to get into the number of times that Larry Bird or your other binkies have come up small in the playoffs? Why don't we call Larry the Peyton Manning of the NBA since his team lost 6 times in the playoffs with HCA? If you are unfair and unreasonable, you can do this with any great player. Why don't we look at Jordan's record (regular season and playoffs) before Pippen arrived?
You have some irrational hatred towards James and are only focusing on his failures, while ignoring the heroics. Conversely, you are ignoring the failings of your heroes and only focusing on the positives. The whole thing is ridiculous. Lebron goes 25-13-9-2-3 and is criticized because the other team drains 17 threes. I'm sure Larry would've been blocking some of those threes into the seats right? Come on now. Your memory is playing tricks on you.
LOL at this guy, wow.
Funny how all of these bad performances come in the finals, eh? lol
Bro, he's had no competition in the East since KG/Pierce became too old...
He could be the most dominating player ever, instead, he's content with getting his numbers and passing to his teammates so that people don't blame him missing shots as the reason they lost.
He's afraid to be the reason they lose
God, you are really a fool. Lebron has been great in 4 out of 6 Finals. Let's talk about Larry's chokejob in the 1981 finals. His 35% FGs against the Pistons in the '88 playoffs. 17 ppg, 13-37 FGs in games 6 and 7 of the '82 ECF against the Sixers. Isn't this fun, tearing down the greats of the game!

He wasn't great last year, that's for sure, lol
Dude, get his D out yo mouth. Nobody says he's awful. He gets his stats, but he rarely goes above and beyond. What he did against the Celtics in game 6 a few years ago is something he should be able to do in games like Friday Night.
Lots of good performances... Yes.. But if you're supposedly the GOAT, where are all the jaw dropping performances?
THEY DONT EXIST
I refer you to the first sentence of my previous post. Zach Lowe and Jeff Van Gundy, two people who know infinitely more about basketball than your sorry a**, voted him MVP of last year's Finals. He also has 2 Finals MVPs (same as Bird). Over and over your comments suggest that he sucks because he is not living up to GOAT status. He is no Jordan. Nobobody is saying he is. But after that, he is in the argument (and many nonbiased observers have placed him right in the thick of that argument, including Bird Fan Extraodinaires, Bob Ryan and Bill Simmons).
You continue to focus on the team's success and not the player.
You are not portraying my position on Lebron accurately.
I never once held it against LeBron for the # of titles he has.
I can't stand LeBron the individual. I think he is a front-runner and from a consistency standpoint does not have the same intestinal fortitude as the greats.
My memory is fine which is why I can say LeBron is not Larry, Magic, MJ or Russell when it matters.

And I can pull dozens of crappy Bird performances from the archives, including in games that decided series. What does that prove? No basketball expert would ever consider putting Bird outside the top 10 all time. Same with James. Same with Russell. Like I said, you hate Lebron and it is infecting your view of him as a player. You seem to admit as much above.
You knocked Bird for his field goal percentage, and then say LeBron was the mvp of last years finals, when he shot in the 30s, lol
That's where you lose credibility. I don't hold it against him for losing last year without Kyrie, but he was the only player they had, of course he was going to fill up the stat sheet... Even though it was pretty inefficient
Celts won the 1981 Championship. Larry splits were 15/15/7 and 2 steals a game.
He shot 40% and it was literally 1 on 5. Larry's situation in '88 was far different, as you know. McHale, Parish, DJ, Ainge, all there and Larry went 4-17 in the deciding game with 5 assists. Really, it makes me sick to pull Larry into this but I feel it's necessary since you guys are being so unreasonable.
Scoring 15 ppg on 42% FG is not something that would be acceptable for LBJ. Like I have said from the beginning, different standards apply to him.

So tell us, then.. Why are there sooo many people, including "expert" who acknowledge that something is missing when it comes to LebRun Jangs... Lol
Something is missing--he is not the killer that Jordan and Bird were at the end of games. Many have said, give me Lebron for the first 3 quarters and Jordan for the 4th quarter. There is a lot of truth to that.

That is what I have been telling you for the entire week.
