And the 4-3 over uses a NT. The Vikings used that for years with The 2 Williams on the inside. One at NT and the other at UT.

Daly was DL coach in Vikings when they had the Williams wall, if he can create that here, i'll gladly take it !

The point is I don't think BB is infallible anymore. Each Pats team that hasn't won the SB had been for the same reasons. BB never fixes the problem. The one year he did, the Pats won the super bowl against the Seahawks.
I know that sounds spoiled as the Pats compete every year but they should win more.
Also BB has forgotten more about football than I will ever know but as a fan I notice similarities in each team that loses: can't run the ball, can't pass block, stink on third downs, no big play fast WR.
I don't see how drafting a QB and a bad DT help with any of that.

What problems has BB not addressed?

Will be taking a look at him over the next few days. FWIW, on the network we don't speak of, Todd McShay was quite impressed with him. Gave him a 3rd-4th grade and said he was more impressive than Maliek Collins.

We see the ancillary impact of the commissioners penalty. The Pats lost more than a first rounder this year and a fourth rounder next: the Pats lost a first rounder, a third (do they take a qb if Brady's not suspended?) as well as a spot on the 53 that would otherwise go to a different depth player. That's a huge hit to take and it's manifesting itself in a bunch of different ways. Makes me hate Goodall even more every time I see him hugging some former player.

Valentine is a more refined player than a project. Providing he has a good camp he'll be part of the d-line rotation Week 1 playing 20 or so snaps a game.

I love the fact BB picks players that he feels fit his system rather than players judged and put in order that fit the stereotype for that position. I swear mocks are written up off the first mock and basically everyone is sheep and lazy and mocks therefore become like Chinese whispers that they all start from the one mock but there are variants the nearer to the draft you get.
