I won't rest until Bill drafts a blocking fullback who specializes in special teams. But he must be from Navy or Rutgers only.
I actually like Chris Swain the Navy FB.

F*ck that ****! Give me a Wii or next generation Nintendo NX console. I LOVE mario games!
It really is more complicated. We have carried 2 QB's for awhile. Now, we'll carry 3.Too much overthinking ...
Every position needs competition ... including QB ... it's as simple as that.
after the brisett/valentine double drinking doesnt cut it anymore
i need a hooker
Compete for what? The opportunity to get cut 4 weeks into the season after not playing? There is no chance they don't bring in a vet to compete in camp.
Cornerback
Cyrus Jones, Alabama
Jonathan Jones, Auburn
Quarterback
Brandon Allen, Arkansas
Jacoby Brissett, North Carolina State
Nate Sudfeld, Indiana
Brissett looks pretty Roethlisbergeresque.

I don't see why, if JG plays well in the first four games, he wouldn't bring a pretty good price. Teams just got done paying stupidhigh prices for those stiffs in this years draft. In NE? Would have to disagree there....typo?
I think they all stay on the roster - TB/JG for the full season, Bissett can sit on the PS even if he's active for the first 4 games (6 is the max now) as the backup, so they don't have to keep him on the 53-man. Either way JG is a goner - his quality of play will just dictate what they can get for him, and even then we're probably talking 2nd instead of 3rd, or 2 picks instead of 1.
I don't see them signing a veteran backup, mainly because it would cost real money and that doesn't make sense for a 4-week backup. Why would Hoyer (for example) sign a deal here knowing he's going to get cut in October?
Lyoko lifted my spirits a bit by saying that they'll make picks tomorrow where we say "if we swap valentine in the third for Xbox in the 6th, the draft doesn't look so bad." This is true as it happens every year.
And we were clearly going to carry three for at least the first 4 games this year.It really is more complicated. We have carried 2 QB's for awhile. Now, we'll carry 3.
We don't have Brady for a 1/4 of the season. And I don't particularly want proven garbage on deck in case something happens to Grop. I don't particularly like Brisket as the QB but I'm not raging against going for a QB. And let's face it Garropolo is not staying in NE unless Brady decides to retire any time soon.It really is more complicated. We have carried 2 QB's for awhile. Now, we'll carry 3.
Moritz Boehringer is the guy I want, I don't really have any opinion on any others. RB for me is not a need, we have Gaffney.. believe!. RB is supposedly really strong in next years draft and the draft IMO is showing that guys are willing to draft until day 3.
Agreed. I don't get it, unless they're really high on Brissett being able to play or plan to trade Jimmy. To me, the sane choice at QB would be bringing in a veteran to back up Grop the first four games and then waiving him when Brady returns. Now, this team appears locked in with QBs at three roster spotsIt really is more complicated. We have carried 2 QB's for awhile. Now, we'll carry 3.
