sign Lord Percy already...

he should of been a pat years ago..just give him a one year deal.
try to get kearse, hope gronk doesnt get injured...

Not fast and slow as a sloth are 2 different things

Yes Harvin should of been drafted a pat damn the Vikings

Matthews better have gotten something around 8 million per year or I'm going to be pissed.

What happens if Boldin became Holt, Ochocinco, Wayne, etc? Dobson and a 2nd-3rd round rookie battle it out for a starting WR spot? Really?

just noticed that mike giardi tweeted this afternoon that Anquan Boldin and james jones have been in contact with the patriots. Not sure if someone mentioned it here on this thread.

eww..both are old and can't get open.

prefer kearse/harvin. hey, give welker a call!!

Naw, if he 'gets it' he'll be inking a 6yr/$30m deal tomorrow

really though: Seemed most had come around that Jones was probably a goner one way or another. At this point wonder if High or Butler is eventually too. I wouldn't pay Butler what these guys are getting til I see it for another year.

I think the Pats will pay what it takes to keep both Collins and Hightower. For the past year at least I've figured that between them and Jones one would be gone and 2 of 3 would stay, and IMO it's pretty clear that the market dictates Jones is the goner. I'm extremely confident that the Pats will keep Hightower. Collins is a bit more of a wildcard for me. I'm confident we'll keep him, but if he does hit the market I think there's an outside chance someone makes him a godfather offer that we can't responsibly match (think $15M+ AAV). I know that would be an utterly unprecedented number for a 4-3 LB, but we now live in a world where Olivier Vernon is worth $17M per year, so who's to say that's implausible?

Butler is a curious one to me. I have a gut feeling that the Pats will extend him earlier, either later this offseason (post-draft, before week 1) or maybe early in the season. Wouldn't be shocked if they don't, but it just seems like the right timing.

I'm sure BB is thinking exactly what you are, and I'm not being sarcastic.

I'd go a step further, and bet that Belichick was thinking this a year-plus ago. The writing's been on the wall for a while, assuming some measure of health it's been a foregone conclusion that Jones would be priced out of New England for at least a year. I think this played a significant role in the decision to emphasize DE last offseason in FA and the draft.

Harvin Holmes Streater are the Free Agents I still would want

I never ever want to see BB draft a WR again, so this day has made me very anxious.

Proof once again, it's all about the mighty dollar and very rarely ever about winning.

We don't know what the money was. And the Titan are a team on the way up. You can win on teams that aren't he Patriots contrary to what this forum believes.
