That's a pretty good deal for them.@AlbertBreer
The Bengals are closing on a five-year deal worth about $30 million with S George Iloka, per source.
The safety market is undervalued.
Harvin hasn't had a quality season since 2012...and he's a real headache.I hope BB doesn't have anything against Harvin.
Pun intended. Very nice pun.Harvin hasn't had a quality season since 2012...and he's a real headache.
Boom or bustHarvin hasn't had a quality season since 2012...and he's a real headache.
I think Cruz would be a nice pickup. Good route runner. If he can recover from his injuries he's a real nice fit for this offense.
Should know today if he's getting cut from the sounds of it.Not sure I get the Cruz stuff. He's not a Free Agent.. Ya there was a report that he if he doesn't redo his deal the Giants would cut him but it hasn't happened yet
There are about 4-6 Lafell caliber WRs now left as the best available FAs...to replace Lafell.
If I remember correctly they had a visit scheduled with him last year before Harvin chose to stay in Buffalo.I hope BB doesn't have anything against Harvin.
That defense was legit. Nothing fluky about their playoff performances, but if you look back at their regular season..that team caught a lot of breaks.
With that, that defense already lost their second best player in FA (Malik Jackson) and their whole starting LB group.
They had a 2 year window to win, they did that, but now they're paying for all those big FA pickups last 2-3 years.
Harvin hasn't had a quality season since 2012...and he's a real headache.
So the amount of turnovers that just bounced into their arms exactly at the right time throughout the entire season was not flukey?
They won 4-5 games in the regular season that they had no business winning just by sheer random luck of footballs taking a lucky bounce.
Their defense being legit (which it was) has nothing to do with the fluke way they somehow stumbled into the playoffs.
They're going to suck immensely this year whether he's there or not. Question is does the new regime think he's part of the future or part of the past, and if it's the latter what are they asking for him?The Browns just lost their #1 WR and their #1 FA WR target. I think the Gordon ship has sailed. Unless they want to just suck immensely again.
