The more time that goes on, the more I have trouble rooting for Kraft

He isn't. In fact, his entire body of work suggests that he is one of the greatest owners in the history of the NFL. When it comes to this topic, this thread has largely resembled what one would expect from an infants' nursery.

Love to see the honest history of the lives of those in the forum who so vilify Mr. Kraft -

Choir boys so to speak ... all of them from all fictional appearances apparently.

The Kraft defenders are getting more pathetic by the post.
As are the disgruntled detractors who cannot seem to move on ... an OCD of sorts.
Good thing there are no lingering James Orthwein or Sullivan supporting people here ...

Any disgruntled Bledsoe people? Speak now or forever hold your peace.

Dude, you're a mod who just bashed posters because they are down on Kraft, going with the "choir boys" comment that's completely irrelevant to the topic, and ridiculous on top of that. And that's on the heels of Jackson's nearly as ridiculous post. Neither of you have any room to talk about others on this topic.

You guys have lost your minds.

Also, for the record, you're calling for more Patriots talk, yet you're complaining about a thread which is Patriots talk.

Some of us are going crazy with the gossip ... so a discussion is not a bad idea.
If we are in the minority ... so be it and we shall quickly lose the battle and cower into the corner.

As I just noted in the thread you created to complain about the lack of Patriots threads, there are currently at least 25 threads on page one of the forum that are either directly Patriots related, or closely related (Again, NFL appellate power threads as an example).

Stew in your hate of Kraft if you must. It serves no purpose. He will continue to own the team, and you will continue to post on a site devoted to the team he owns.

It's an exercise in futility. Who is truly the pathetic one?

English my second language......you don't know what the truth is.....run along and play with the dislike button
I don't use the dislike button until somebody starts with a personal attack. You don't know the truth either.
What I find amusing is the almost cult like devotion of some people to the infallibility of Kraft and his decisions. Let me state that I have followed the Pats since their inception in 1960 and that Kraft is by far the best owner and is in my opinion a good human being which is more important. He made the best decision in the history of the team in hiring BB and that is the fact. However since 2007, he has been a hindrance to the team and its fans through his slavish and vocal support of the POS commissioner and his henchmen. Why he did what he did I don't know, however the facts speak for themselves unless you think giving up draft choices and capitulating in a pathetic manner are good for the team

Ya.....cuz it's more pathetic to move on then to snivel endlessly about something you can do nothing about

And it's not so much defending him as realizing the deck is stacked with no recourse

And if calling him the best owner in the nfl is pathetic, then you need to go check yourself

tell me you had the scorpion bowls at the Hong Kong in Harvard Square! many a Thursday night I spent there...back in "the day"
I had many a scorpion bowl there!
LOL

And this is the endless circle the keyboard warriors are stuck in. It's like watching a dog chase his tail.

When are you going to catch yours?

Like Kraft?

Okay, that was a joke.

Did someone just tell a poster to go check themselves lol Were they waving an imaginary finger whilst writing it.

What keeps this discussion going is that the season is over and offseason is about to begin. Now the loss of the first rounder becomes much more noticeable and Kraft's capitulation much harder to take. While most realize nothing would have restored the picks they are also pissed he didn't try. This is completely understandable and pretending he wasn't wrong when he actually apologized for it is ridiculous.

This...and that everyone was admittedly emotional during the time Kraft capitulated, while Kraft assured everyone it was in the best long-term interest of the team. I think many of us thought by this time, we'd see the Patriots had gotten something back or had taken the better route. Yet when revisiting the it, there's no other conclusion to draw except that his surrender seems even worse now in hindsight than it seemed even under the most skeptical critic back then.

Kraft was misled and duped by Goodell and his NYJLO scumbags. I really hope Mar. 3 is the point where he starts to fight back. The draft is still 2+ months away. No way Goodell wins this appeal and then his last gasp is to be in the same position he put Tom in: An appeal to his own Judge, Jury and Executioner. Poetic justice.

So, if he appealed, lost and still lost the picks [or more, this is goodell] everybody would be cool?

With Kraft? Yes! If it was an honest effort, of course they would. The problem most people have with him (along with propping up Goodell after the first time he railroaded the Patriots) is that the Patriots appear to come in second in his allegiances, and that he essentially sided with the corrupt lowlifes trying to set up Brady and the team. I really don't know what is so hard to understand about that. It's not personal in any way other than the person making the final decisions for this franchise does not appear to have it's best interests at heart.

Also, unless I'm wrong, an appeal of some sort would be a necessary step to any further action involving the courts. Appealing and losing would have paved the way for the next step. So, his capitulation basically sent the chances of getting the picks to zero. He left the team with no other options from the start, for reasons not in the best interests of this franchise, and that's what people are pissed at.

Evidently that seems to be the mindset of some.
