Just a heads Up; BB's Daily Presser Starts Any Minute Now

Or maybe it's because he knows this is going to be a sh*tshow?

that's not a good sign. usually when he's in a bad mood it's because the team has not been practicing well that week.
That's my concern. And I have a sick recollection of the Ernie Adams quote, "Games are won and lost in practice".

Hopefully its unrelated to bad practice.

that's not a good sign. usually when he's in a bad mood it's because the team has not been practicing well that week.

Or you know he's mad at the fact that he's gotta talk about his starting DE's off the field issues, instead of taking questions about their biggest game of the season so far.

He was in a great mood leading up to SB 42.

no he wasn't according to his players.

he was in a better mood for SB46 but probably because they overachieved thst year.

Yep. Troy Brown just said a few months ago that practice was basically a disaster SB week. During one of the practices Bill pulled them off the field mid-practice.

I thought I recall him being quite happy at pressers during that week. Maybe I'm thinking of SB 46. Either way, the point is, his attitude doesn't reflect how the team will play the game.

no he wasn't according to his players.

They said that year's after the fact. But during his media availability he seemed even keel.

Even cracked a few smiles

BB's press conferences moods range from sociopathic contempt for the human race to partially mammalian, lol at people trying to make these correlations. I remember when everyone was saying how the Pats must have had a good week of practice because of how "happy" he was the Friday before the 2007 SB.

Or you know he's mad at the fact that he's gotta talk about his starting DE's off the field issues, instead of taking questions about their biggest game of the season so far.

was he this mad during deflategate?

I like the intensity and focus and him being pissed off. The stakes are high, everyone needs to be.

pft headline says BB is salty over Chandler Jones questions. Can't give it the click.

I'm sure this is of national interest/importance, but I'd like to hear what PFT has to say about manning and HGH and if it's relevant and people deserve to know.

No coach is gonna publically act like a sour **** on Super Bowl week. Bad practice or not.

But with other games? Wouldn't be surprised if bad practice has him in this mood. More likely than Chandler Jones having a bad high.

Obviously in a bad mood but it does not automatically mean practice has been bad.

Besides things can go very well with a terrible week of practice or very badly with a great week of practice though it is not the norm.

The fact is the Pats are healthier now but a slow start is possible. If we get the the 2nd half in a close game I really like the Pats to win it as they should get better as the game goes due to getting that continuity back with Edelman and a healthy Hightower/Collins combo again finally.

Since the game is on Saturday, this is the nominal "Friday" presser where, usually, he is expansive and a bit more laid back.

Chandler Jones' situation really affected the first few minutes of it, but now he is back into expansive mode talking about the game and the recent question about shadow players popping up for the Chiefs....

Of course, the MCI is actually tweeting his expert female cosmetics observations........

Ben Volin ✔ @BenVolin
Belichick's shiner hasn't improved much over the last couple of days, either. Looks like he's wearing eye-liner.

Well, if anyone knows about wearing eye liner it's Volin.

Well, if anyone knows about wearing eye liner it's Volin.

He also knows nothing about woman.

As someone who has been married far too long, BB clearly looks like he is wearing eyeshadow- not eye liner.

By sitting home and googling video games, that is the kind of knowledge he just doesn't have.

Think I would much rather watch grass grow, he will give Reid/Chiefs kudos about how they are well coached in all three aspects of the game, they press will try to get him to bite on Jones and the press will try to get him to answer some question in an effort to "bait" him.. and then he will walk of indignanty.

The only reason he gives these pressers is because the NFL makes him do it..

Rinse, repeat, rinse repeat.....
Isn't it kind of cold for grass to grow?

So I guess people are going to make absurd assumptions about how well practice has been going this week and their odds of winning the game based on this press conference.

You guys should go to Vegas and make millions off of your expertise and forecasting abilities.
