Nobody is a gimmie win for anybody, everyone in the AFC is mediocre/flawed right now.

I would agree that KC/Houston is a favorable matchup though.

I would prefer to play Pittsburgh since they're the one team that doesn't have a notably good front 7, but I agree with your overall point. Of the other AFC playoff teams, I think Denver is the best and most complete team. Nobody is head and shoulders above the others though. Everyone is flawed enough that in most seasons I would consider them a second-tier contender.

I may be misreading your post...but the Troy Brown strip was against the #1 seeded 14-2 San Diego Chargers of 2006.
Rivers hobbling to an inevitable loss in the AFCCG vs. the greatest team of all time was 2007.

Yeah, Denver's D has looked decent against AJ McCarron or against Rivers with no offensive line and no receivers... Remember how they looked against a competent offense (like Pittsburgh)? Remember how great Peyton looked against halfway decent teams earlier this year (multiple picks)?

Wrong. This is a perfect storm for the NFL. They will do whatever they can to get Pey Pey to Santa Clara. Look what happened to the Pats in Denver. When the entire media contingents in NE and country say the Pats got jobbed and nothing happenend, the NFL had its test case. Barring some unforeseen event it's over. They'll hold no call, out guys will get flagged. INTs will be negated by something. Fumbles will be overturned etc.

If you want to see an NFL game in full rigged mode, watch Denver in the playoffs.

Quite honestly, I am impressed how SD has not thrown in the towel in this game. They had injuries left and right today and keep grinding.. most probably it won't be enough but they did everything they could in a meaningless game for them.
